Not sure if thats the right place , but what would you think about idea of depletable tech moons? Lets say you mining them out in a month or so and its respawning somewhere else, in totaly random systems or even regions. That wouldn't give a chance for big block perma sit on those rasources. Allso items like survey scanning probes would be in use again :). The game would become more dinamic allso smaller alliances or even corps would get a chance to fill their wallets a bit before reall cash makers would spot that moon. Just an idea tho. Thanks. PS. Big blocks don't bother to shout here that this is silly idea :) |

It's been suggested over and over, it will never be implemented, because it removes any reason to attack any moon at all, when you can just drop towers on 100 random moons and hope that you get the lucky draw. |

also this would have to go for every resource which would make moon mining an absolute clusterfuck |

Make a quick calculation how much would cost to upkeep 100 towers. And what if you won't get lucky?

Thats the point. That way no1 will sitt on tech moons forever. Even weak corporation might get lucky to scan it down and mine it out. If you happy with one big alliance or coalition controlling all tech moons, its fine. But my way it would take from them perma income. |

Perma income territory is one of those things that create conflict. Conflict in Nullsec is needed to give Eve a little epic flavor and keep things interesting and fluid. |

the whine threads from the nullsec alliances would be epic
But yes i think it would be a great and interesting excersise, It could even boost nullsec industry , making them less dependable on their moongoo income and forcing them to explore other options of industry
Sadly the current pvp only mentallity of all the big nullsec alliances will not allow this I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire |

^This. Moon goo is the last fixed asset that gives value to one space over another, aside from the flavor of rats. The effects of Truesec on belt rats & rocks pales beside the Sov upgrades. The static complexes are a thing of the past. Making moons dynamic would eliminate the last thing that makes this area of space worth more than that one.
Add to that, if you think that T2 ships are expensive today thanks to the cost of Tech, imagine what would happen when every Tech moon in the game isn't being mined 24/365 since no one knows where they are from day to day or month to month.
... and if you think that surveying moons would be fun, i invite you to catalog 3 or 4 constellations. It's not fun doing it once. Surveying an ever changing series of moons would be insanity. |

But what if you make it more PI like I mean instead of a alliance or corp controlling it only one person controls it, all the pos for reactions etc stays the same but the extraction is done in a more pi like matter and then shipped to the pos for further processing (if the person resposible for extracting actually wants it to be shipped to his corp/ alliance ) I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... They need to ADD more tech to the game, possibly in places you wouldnt expect it
All the current tech moons do are line the RMTing pockets of the current nulsec alliance leadership |

Those moons would be simple taken by big alliances again and would add more income to same ppls. Other thing, CCP can even make those moons that spawned shown on map. Like one or other system has tech moon now. Go scan. That way prices would even go down on T2 becouse it won't be dictated by ONE big block of alliances that holds most tech moons. About the value of the system, alliances still need ratting systems and Super capital production. So which ever way you look they still gonne need sov. And if they want tech moon on the other side of universe that just spawned, thats fine. But by the time thy get there scan it and anchor tower, some small corporation will make some isk and make some T2 stuff for Jita market. :) Balance and lower prices on t2. Another good point VaMei Anyway. Lets ask yourselfs. Do you want all tech moons be in one coalition hands? If not.. make moons depletable. Thats all.
