I just came back to eve, quit about a year and a half ago. But with dust it has re energized me to play again. I never entered null space before but since i came back i have been traveling providence space and plucking out the good deals to sell at amarr. I am buy up mostly minerals but that else should i be looking for? I know nothing about planetary items.
Plus i am going into null just buying stuff but it would be more efficient if i was selling something there to, what does null sec need. i was thinking ammunition or drones would be a good bet but there isn't much meat on the bones so to speak. I am running a prorator so my space is limited, but any suggestions would be helpfull. |

But if I were you I would stay out of nullsec, At least trade wise for a while.
Trading in null is an adventure. I remember selling skill books in the Great Wildlands as a newb. Good times.

What's needed in null? You bring it there. Some times the oddest things sell for a killing.
I had a friend ferrying stuff (for a fee) to our null sec region every week. I kept selling BCs at about 200% markup and GSCs at 500% mark up and they'd go within 2 days of being put for sale.

You can make absurd money supplying nullsec, you need to be smart about it though and really know what youre bringing and where youre bringing it |

Having made enough money to plex 3 accounts for almost a year, buy a 70 mil sp toon, and jump freighter after jump freighter, I feel I can give you some tips. I made all that isk in null
One thing to consider though at this point is that null space is all fagged out at the moment in my opinion.
Test goons and 60% of the rest of these "mighty" zerg, zombie, bloc alliances, are not fighting as much as the years past. In fact it is also my opinion that null space is more full of carebears than Calderon high sec
How does this matter in regard to trade in null sec? Less ships getting blown up. I.e. you may not make as much as you could have a year or two ago.
But, I'm sure you can still make a killing. So here's my advice...
Have enough orders to create a diverse market, stock t1 variants
Price your goods reasonable but still with a healthy profit, if you **** people, they will look for ways to not buy from you,, our only but as a last resort, more sales at a lower profit IMO is than less orders at exorbitant profits, reasonable to me is nothing higher than 15 to 20 percent above jita, certain items you can gouge but you figure that out, there are items pilots expect to pay fluctuating prices on
Don't buy in null to sell in high, buy in high to sell in null is my personal preference
Get a jump freighter and some cyno alts
Use buy orders in jita, or don't, the profit once you establish a market in null will pay for all your fuel and much much more.
If you don't have good skills, and cannot set up a proper market (300/600) orders, then cover a smaller market group in an already established hub. And train your skills until you can do it all yourself. With 50 orders you could do rigs for example in serpentis prime, an already established hub.
Hope this was helpful, good luck, if you are good at this you can make tons of isk, and if you do, don't blow it all like me, watch the md forums for a year or so and find out who the real players are and invest in some mid term bonds if you can.

Heres a free tip: since TEST took over HED-GP it has become a regular thunderdome and now that goons have reset TEST it is a warzone. Study what ships are being used and what is being destroyed and stock Keberz with it. Goons gotta come from Deklein to HED and cannot dock in the station, so when they blow up they look for the nearest station they can dock at in hopes of reshipping. Keberz, stock Keberz. |

I have never traded in null but how do you supply a system with sell orders where there is no station in that system. Keberz does not appear to have any NPC stations in it. http://eveboard.com/pilot/Ronix_Aideron |

hello neighbor. i see you in the systems i frequent
that said, i can't really tell you what some good items are, i'm not a fan of handing my competition freebies. i can say, take an hour or two and just go thru the market. think of whos space it is (CVA,) the types of rats there (sanshas,) and how those two things interact.
i've found a few solid sellers, and a few duds that looked promising initially. luckily, i didn't invest heavily in most of them. the markets are alot slower then high sec, but so long as you aren't terribly worried about massive volume, it works. there are certainly decent profits to be made.
also, you can sell most items for a reasonable 10% over jita, or whatever high sec trade hub you acquire your goods at.
good luck, -Yazz |
