Hadean Drive Yards. For the past two years the name has struck a familiar chord with thousands of pilots among the stars in EVE. Industrial companies know of us, and know of our production capabilities. Grizzled combat veterans flying into intense battle come to us for their latest vessels of war. The name brings respect and with it, great honor. We have dedicated ourselves to being the best starship production corporation possible and depend on our customers and employees to maintain the level of respect we have worked long hard hours to attain. Producing everything from the fastest frigates to the strongest battleships, HDY strives to excel at both customer service and efficiency. Our reputation was not built overnight, it took strong leadership, a fully-functional corporate/military hybrid structure and a steady stream of goals to achieve. Hadean Drive Yards never sits idle and weÆre always keeping our eye on the next milestone. It is this drive to achieve and expand that fuels us in our daily activities. We know there is always more that can be done. We strive to get the latest blueprints and offer the latest ships at the best price possible. We constantly review our processes to ensure we offer the best communication to our customers and partners.
For the two years of our existence, Hadean Drive Yards has operated under the philosophy that "A successful corporation is nothing without its employees" and this rings as clear and true today as it did back then. The employees of HDY are its lifeblood, each pilot an integral gear of the whole machine, with none left to rust away. Every employee has a purpose and a function that contributes to the betterment of the corporation. Furthermore, while every employee is putting their best efforts in for the corporation, they themselves are gaining experience, knowledge, and the privilege to fly with some of the best damn pilots this side of the EVE Gate. Once pilots have clocked in a significant amount of hours in the books, they are encouraged to select a path of productivity that facilitates their skills and efforts to the fullest degree. Hadean Drive Yards offers a variety of paths to take, all of which help make the corporation the best it can be.
The Mining & Transport department is where all new pilots start their tenure within HDY. One of the three components of the Logistics Division, pilots in the M&T primarily focus on participating in mining operations and facilitating the transport of essential materials to their appropriate destination. Some may call it grunt work, but every unit of ore mined and every haul made is vital to the work of any other department. If we donÆt have the appropriate resources acquired and transported to the correct location, we would be unable to complete our core functionality of producing ships, hence the inherent importance of this department. Every employee, regardless of their department, has a part to play in M&T in that when they are able and their primary duties do not interfere, they are to mine and haul.
The ore, minerals, and other resources that M&T provides is what allows the Manufacture & Production department to do its job. M&P, the second component of the Logistics Division, is the core of HDYÆs production capabilities. Managing resources and maintaining the factory runs of ships, ammunition and equipment both for public sale and internal use. It is our goal to be completely self-sufficient in terms of our internal equipment. We build our own ships, we arm them with weapons and equipment of our own manufacture, and we load them with our own ammunition. It is the responsibility of M&P to insure that our internal equipment levels are kept at an optimum level while at the same time keeping up with customer demand.

Manufacture & Production also acts as the ôstore frontö to our clients, providing customer service, order updates and other communications that help make the buying process both easy and quick. A customer that buys one frigate from us and is completely satisfied will think of us itÆs time for them to buy a battleship.
However, even with all the resources in the world, we cannot output one single unit of ammunition unless we have a blueprint of which to produce it from. The Research & Development department, the third and final component of the Logistics Division, ensures that all of our production operations are fully outfitted with the blueprints they need to complete their tasks. From selling copies to customers to beefing up our expansive BPO library, R&D is essential in keeping Hadean Drive Yards both on the cutting edge of technology. Using their research talents to further improve our blueprints, every minute spent by R&D saves us money that we are able to then pass along to our customers as well as benefit from internally. R&D also oversees the active research of Hadean Drive Yards, as we work with agents from the four major empires to acquire the latest technology available.
These three departments together compose HDYÆs Logistics Division. Each department is just as important as the other, as they all work together, and each cannot function without the other. It is this never-ending loop of productivity and efficiency that allows HDY to operate as the power-house that it is in industrial production. However, these are troubled times in the universe of EVE, rife with political conflicts, menacing cartels and dangerous pirates. This is where HDY Military Division comes into play. Comprising of the Combat Air Patrol, Combat Support, and Special Operations Group departments, MIL DIV is dedicated to protecting every asset of Hadean Drive Yards. Staffed by thoroughly-trained combat pilots, the Military Division makes sure all of its pilots are well versed in the many levels of EVE combat and capable of handling any situation from escorts to fleet battle.

Just for that I will send in an application for you to read Khem.
In regards to the Corporation itself. It will have been in existance for 3 years as of September 6, 2005. How many others out there can claim that level of longevity.
HDY has produced both top notch equipment and top notch pilots, regardless of their current Corporations. We were one of the first to produce several of the new items as they were released and we did it on our own, without group buys or outside assistance.
Some people may claim that EVE is all about PvP and blah blah blah but for those of you who see things in terms of red and black ink then HDY is for you. Be a part of an economic juggernaut and rule the galaxy using your brain instead of your brawn.

Tried applying and keeps giving me "FULL UN-ABREVIATED NAME" for State/Provence. I spelled it out, Texas, but kept giving me the same error. And yes I read the terms of service and checked "Yes".
Let me know what I need to do to re-apply. :)

Wow Dreads already what type? I have been a solo player for so long was looking for a good production corp, not looking for handouts I have lots of isk, just wondering what Dread before I go to the trouble of applying.

Humm .. I might have jumped the gun a weee bit here :) HDY along with our FIX brothers and sisters(Carbide Industries, Band of Builders, Legio, NRG, ASUYA and Obsidian Asylum Im sure I left someone out :( ) have started production on the Obelisk Freighter and are in the process of ramping up for DREAD construction. But as you all know Dreads require the same components as Freighters.

ok guys...i am looking for a place for my main toon. i joined a good corp in a large alliance. the alliance has been at war ever since and i am tired of pvp all the time. im looking for a fairly stable place to mine high end ore as my wallet is low and im trying to build up ore for a BS. i have good mining skills including L3 barge and ice mining skill. i have some experience at pvp but am really looking to mine. im in no hurry to build up my wallet and build the BS so i dont mind spending a lot of time mining for the corp/alliance and mining ice for pos is also no prob for me. i have almost 9 mil sp mostly combat but like i said good mining skills as well. i really like your post..looks like a very organised corp/alliance thing going on. pls post info in this forum about stablility of high end ore mining so i can determine if i need to apply. after that i will fill out app with my main toon after i inform my current corp i am leaving.

We actually have a large attendance in the evenings but that is relative to where you live.
Check the SHOP@HDY channel and if anyone is there you can communicate with them, otherwise you'll have to wait till Bandus gets back to you via email and arranges a specific time.

On a side note, we ask that those who do apply expect at least two days before their application is processed and an interview scheduled. Remember, something worth having is worth waiting for. Those who apply one day, wait 10 minutes and then apply to 6 other Corporations need not apply.
Our interview process is rather intense and time consuming. Our Human Resources department handles the backlog as best they can but they are only human afterall.
So, give it a few days and wait. It will be processed and you will be contacted, promise.

Hadean Drive Yards is approaching its THIRD birthday. Thats right folks, we've been around for almost three years now, longer than tranquility has actually been operating.

I have serious concern bout the fact of all the personal information u "require" for the application process.
Who or how many ppl get access to this info
Wot safe-guards r inplace to stop ppl gettin personal information u dont want to be public
Why is there an expectation or need to have some1's personal information based on the fact this is a game and a person might not want to share to maintain his\her privacy
Just curious for answers to these question as i am interested in joining ye but i do not want to give out such information to just any1 because they need it for a game. The screenshot would not be a problem but i would have issues with the other information.

Well, if you have issues with whats required then HDY probably isn't the place for you.
If your personal privacy is that important to you then you need to seek a place which caters more towards the "character / corp member" attitude than a place like HDY that caters to a "the player AND the character are part of the family" type attiatude.
We don't sell the information required to anyone. It is entered into the online database and it remains there until employment termination. We've had full player profiles on cops, military personnel, lawyers, computer analysts, one financial analyst, investigators, and the list goes on and on and on.
About 1/250 people ask the questions you did so it can't be all that big an issue with the overall community.
The information that is publically available is what you see on our employee roster and player profiles. It is also limited to what you enter into it. Some people prefer not to have their last names present and others do not care.
This is a gaming community, not a shopping list for stalkers and email address harvesters.

Duff I know your concern,I felt the same way. It's not like their asking for your credit card number or anything like that. As former member of HDY I can atest that nothing ebil has happened to me. And I have been whoring their boards for the past 2 1/2 years. Overkill oversees the board and is a stand up guy... for the most part 
GL on finding a corp.
