Here's a question which could belong in corp or factory forums. (But I'll only post it here :))
Say Bob has view access to a hangar with the corp blueprints in (BPHangar)and has view and take access to a general hangar (GeneralHangar.
When using a BP and specifying the location to take it from you gotta have view access. So Bob specifies the BPHangar and a Mallar BP to make. When coming accross the option 'where to put the BP when finshed' he specifies the GeneralHangar.
The question is: Using this method could Bob use the BP and then take it from the GeneralHangar when the run has finished? If so then isn't this kinda silly and is it a known bug?
If not and it's known then why? It makes hangar security very restricted.
Cheers

BP gets ejected back where it came from, no other option. ---------------- Blue Screen of Death CEO Exodus Enterprises |

Ok. Thanks for that. I must have misread the 3rd option. :)

just thinking aloud...
Do you need to grant "Put" access to the player on the hanger the item is being manufactured to?
Or does the factory slot have an overriding "put" permission and does it itself?
Im a director, so have never had to faff with permissions, im just curious as to how best protect property in the future should we expand again.

There is only take and read access.
You can put stuff in to any hangar you can see IIRC as I have had members place stuff in the wrong hangar and then ask for it back. So presumably it is up to them to make sure they put it in the correct hangar.
