I am also having this issue. I have tried copying over a fresh version and checking the shortcut is setup correctly, neither having any effect. |

I am having a slightly different problem.
Made a full copy of the EVE client to CCP/Singularity folder, While EVE client is in CCP/EVE folder.
I did the shortcut change. Client patches fine to SiSi. But know my main client also patches to SiSi. I have triple checked everything and it all seems right. The new shortcut is only in the client in the singularity folder. But when I launch EVE from the original folder it connects to SiSi as well now.
I have no idea WTF I did wrong.
Edit: For some reason some of the files in the SiSi folder were still directing to the EVE TQ folder. Changed the directory in the EVE.exe, Deleted the file for the server scripts that was directing the launcher to the old folder. Repatched. and all seems fine now. |

If any of you could supply the Launcher logs, that would be very helpful. Product Owner, EVE Launcher | Team Special Circumstances |

That's a log from this morning, that says it's unable to reach our content servers. It doesn't contain the exception that you pasted before, so are you sure it's the correct one? Also, for sharing those logs, I would recommend http://pastebin.com/ Product Owner, EVE Launcher | Team Special Circumstances |

Ok, so looking at your log, I believe the issue is two fold.
Firstly, you're unable to receive the partial data downloads from our Content Delivery Network (CDN) since it relies upon parts of the HTTP/1.1 protocol. This is supposition on my part, because this is the most common cause of people having corrupted downloads.
Usually, the EVE Launcher would be able to download a premade patch that would circumvent this problem, allowing you to patch and connect, however this patch appears to not be present. This is shown in the logs as "WARNING - premade patch was unavailable" The update process then explodes, and incorrectly attributes it to corruption.
I would recommend you recopy your Tranquility build and attempt to re-patch from that. Product Owner, EVE Launcher | Team Special Circumstances |

I re-copied the Tanquility build again now and still the same problem. What funny is I have no problem patching the Tranquility server just the singularity. |
