Foundation left Great Wildlands and retreated the empire to wage war against -V- in empire, lol! ;)

IMHO..
why make an official alliance when you only become a large target. How much it hurts me i have to give it up for Foundation who have been hanging in there for a long time with various enemies on their hands.
I now believe that Foundation is coming to an end in GW as we know it, maybe they'll fight in GW or not but the enemy presence in E02 is taking its toll on Foundation.
Foundation are mainly US and will therefor only be a threat to people in US timezone.
As a former ally with Foundation i personally wish them good luck.

Not sure what the future holds for GW region or foundation . I know 2 things for sure
1) Foundation has done dam well considering what they are up against
2) GW will always be the home of VIRII ... no matter who controls it
EDIT : BOS war was great fun ... one of the best wars we ever had .. IMO

Hey Blitz0r, nice to see you. :)
At the moment, the only time when Foundation still has trouble is the euro evenings, when [5] and some Ex-Keiretsu corps like M.Corp come to help -V- and manage to outblob us for 2 hours or so.
A few weeks ago, this was different, when -V- had a much stronger presence in Great Wildlands and managed to control GW for a larger part of the day.
Now the hours before and after downtime are boring for our pvpers, and -V- have only a few struggling pilots left then.
If you look at -V-'s numbers on the alliance rankings, you'll see that their numbers have went down from more than 500 to less than 400, partly due to the empire wars they are facing now.

Or maybe they didn't want to part with a billion isk for a chat channel.
Alliances as they are today are potentially one of the least thought out things ccp has implemented into this game, It's a toss up between alliances and target painters.

THey use the same channels of them and say they were are only good friends.....Havent i heard foundation say before they are just a group of friendly corps working together? so Virri work with them on occasion and are there close friends....i would say that puts them in the foundation category.

I would have to agree, alot of inofficial alliances Have corps helping them out but are not considered alliance members. Virii are definately one of them. |

We have nothing to do with Foundation politics... our friendly and hostile standings may be similar, but not quite the same. We don't sit on their council meetings, we occasionally fly in their gangs. Should Foundation ever become an official alliance, you will not see VIRII take part. We respect their claims and fairly often we will respect their standings list. Hell, we don't even use the same Teamspeak except for the occasional VIRII who is playing when most of the corp isn't on and they're looking for a gang.
We do have friends in this game, just because you fly with someone or help them out, doesn't make you part of their group. Think of it like this.. we fight M.Corp, Black Widows, Lonestar Industries, -V-, BS.I and others in GW and elsewhere. That doesn't make them part of the [5] or any other group, but by your logic, they would be.
