hi all.
im a new player.
i tried to kill a WANTED char near stargate but the cop killed me. Why this? if is wanted why cop kill me?and then... now i have lost my ship and all equip.
i wanna know: how a char can do pvp if u lost all your items in this game?

You can only shoot players with -5.0 or lower security rating without police reprisal. By default settings they will blink red. A bounty is not a guarantee for you being able to shoot him.
In 1.0-0.5 space both sentries and CONCORD will shoot you if you agress a player with better security rating than this that you are not at war with. In 0.4-0.1 only sentries will engage you. In 0.0 you are free to shoot at anything without intervention.
Just out of curiosity, what did you lose? I'll be happy to help you get back on your feet, now that you've learned a little about EVE mechanics.

Just because a player has a bounty set on him this does not allow you to shoot at him in empire space (0.5 > 1.0).
The only way you can destroy another players ship in empire is if his sec status is less than or equal to than -5.0 (check this) or you are at war with is corporation.
You can go to places that have security status of less than 0.5 where it is possible to destroy ships with no intereference from concorde (you wil take a sec hit) as long as you are not at any structures that have defensive systems that may attack you. Alternatively you can go to 0.0 and shoot at who ever you want al day long.

And the golden rule of EVE ofcourse "Don't risk what you can't afford to loose"...
In other word, if you can't afford to loose that ship then don't risk it, if you got a cruiser, battlecruisr or battleship you can't afford to loose then use a smaller ship.
Don't use expensive equipment like a friend of mine who bought a 700 million armor repairer .. if you loose that you won't get it back right ?
Same if you fly around in a navy issue mega or apoc... if you loose it you will only get back what a normal battleship would give.
So the golden rule is "Don't risk what you can't afford to loose".

Oh my. Just because a character is 'wanted' does not mean that you can shoot at him with impunity. In space >0.4 cops respond to agression.
If you have lost everything you will wind up in a noob ship. It has one mining laser. You can earn isk by (gasp, shudder) mining. 
Or you can get in local chat and beg. 
Given the choice, I would mine.

I think that I dont lie if I say that all players lost ships as newbies by centry guns and concorde, so dont worry bout it m8 :)

Lose: Destroyer Ship.This si my 1 problem... equip was all top S or lower M (missile,bomb,autocanno,laser,3 mining laser II T_T ecc ecc) now i need 1 more milion (1.000.000,00) +o-. all i need for rebuy my ship.
So..ok guys. im new and i didnt know about security lvl.Anyway....how can i make money now?

Well, You have a new Rookie ship which has all to actually make it possible to get you back on feet (talking a basic mining laser and a basic weapon). I know that it's a hassle to go from zero with this, but as you should have gotten some money from insurance for the destroyer, you should be able to get a new small frig and some guns (or miner Is) and run a few missions or do some mining.
Maybe someone else might help you with some stuff he doesn't need as well, most people are willing to help as soon as they notice that someone really tries and isn't just trying to get stuff the easy (and mostly annoying) way. Oh, and as another hint: directly asking for money has mostly the exact contary effect (making people ignore you inquiries for help, as they may consider you a beggar then).

Yup i did that in my first day in eve by accidentally locking a guy in the training area and i fired and got concordokken, problem was i also got a bugged timer and had to petition to be able to undock without getting blown up :P

2 guys helped me for get back my items buy im tired to lost ship.
now is ok. 1 destroyer is 1 mil -1.5 mil +o- but if a strong player lost his/her ship ?? a ship like 50 mil or more ?? how he/she can do 50 mil by mining with raper @.@
This is a game, online game and we can die by lag and lost ship with all items for 1 stupid lag?this sux..
therefore im asking 1 question because this thing is not much intelligent: there is a command for "assure" the ship and get back all money?
PS:sorry for my eng, im italian :P

You ca insure the ship: go to the insurance tab in a station to the right ;)
Its also easier to make money wit larger ships: so older plaers dont lose as much (in relative terms)

Yes. Look for Insurance under station service buttons (on the right). You need to have ship you want to insure docked. Just click the button and interface will guide you through insurance process.

Va il buy un Navitas, o un tristan o qualcosa e la miniera in un 0.9, direttamente nella vostra stretta del carico, fanno alcuni instas, ottengono alcuni espansori del carico, li prenderÓ per un po', ma finalmente rastrellerete in treno molto dei contanti su alcune abilitÓ estraenti e su abilitÓ refinary, allora quando ottenete un certo addestramento di inizio del toghether dei contanti per un caracal, quindi il lavoro whoring di missioni di inizio il vostro senso fino alla a raven gli agenti del lvl e del battleship 4. Farete i miliardi. se avete bisogno in qualunque momento dell'aiuto, o state cercando una societÓ decent per aiutarli avanti, la vigilia lo spedisce per posta.

eternal, join the italian chat (5th button from the bottom on the bar on the left shows you all the chats)... there are some italian guys (me included) there that can give you a hand and explain what you don't understand
