Hi.. Can someone fill me in on how char transfers are conducted in regards to ISK payment, is it a trust thing that they pay if you transfer first, or that the char is transferred if it goes that way? or something else? how is it done.

Does that go for the revievee(is that a word? lol) not paying up after the transfer as well?

Character transfer scams are one of the few scams that are NOT allowed by CCP. If I remember, the other scam is a pyramid scam.

When I did mine, I asked for the ISK up front, then I transferred. If they need reassurance, CCP will investigate / ban / refund these transfers in case of scamming.

Not really...
It's a GM thing though, they do the forum bans and whatever other actions they think are necessary.

What I meant Wrangler was, "do they only ban ppl if I auctioned it on forums ? not if it's a personal deal...maybe thro msn ?

You should only auction characters through this forum. Otherwise, CCP have no evidence that you auctioned it in the first place.
