Its just taken me about 10 minutes of rubber-banding to dock, are they even trying with this game any more? ;\... i dont think i have ever seen such lag, it takes about 15 minutes to jump to another system. Good time for a vacation :)

Yep had some bad problems myself this morning before downtime almost lost a battleship due to there junk servers giveing me cap bug...nice to see u can almost loose a 100million isk ship due to there crap code/servers and they probly wouldn't do a thing about it.

yeah - jort. lag is horrible here too!
i've lost 2 cruisers, and almost 2 more due to lag conditions or patch conditions and neither to no fault of my own. and i haven't had a one replaced yet!
so probably not, i'd be scared to even fly a battleship in eve. i'm scared to take my cruiser out now! besides rite loot is half of what it was and most isn't worth hauling back to the station now anyways.
so... i just sit in the station now and talk to folks passing-by! ;)

Been knocked off the server 5 times in 30 minute period. Not the way we want to spend a Friday night.

Same for me and my corp, most have been dumped 3 or 4 times.
When logging on to this board i got an error message first time "Gateway failure - server unreachable", no idea if thats related or if its CCPs problem or the internet. ** Eve...The final frontier....To boldly explode, where no one's exploded before ** |

So the question is ...
Why do we not get a warning about a server reboot before it happens ?
That would at least show some courtesy to the playerbase .

I doubt it was a server reboot. It seems like network problems.

hrm, is everyone having trouble on this side of the pond?
nm, trace finally finished. Transatlantic latency is minimal. I'm hitting the 'thames' box OK, which should be the last one to admit it's there, and it is. So there's something horribly b0rked inside their network, most likely; i doubt the server could crash, alarm, and get kicked awake by the monitor *this* fast *this* many times, but i guess it's possible...

Ive been on for at least 6 hours and the server has not rebooted. I'm still online but to be honest for the last three hours I havn't moved from station as like you said there's not much point anymore.
In an hour of killing pirates I might have accomplished what I would have before in ten minutes or less and I don't think I have one single item I can stack.
Just how many times can they put a different name on the same almost identical item. What a waste of database space.

LOL First thing I clicked on I dropped to desktop. So much for that. I guess it must have dropped for me too but sound continued on as if I was still connected.
At least I wasn't outside the station. Pheww

i am almost 100% posative that it is something screwed on THEIR networks, not a router along the way.. it HAS to be their own entwork that screwed.
1) Every time ive been dumped to desktop (EVE crahing) and i try to get back in, i will face a "Server Down" messgae, even though people that are NOT kicked, still see the server as being up.
2) Whenever i get that "Server down" message, i cant even acess the website =) which usualy points to a Network problem on CCP's side.
anyway.. i finaly got my Thorax docked at a station.. im NOT getting back on till i see some kind of responce or post that the servers are working stable again.

Hum, I have had character stuck now for 9 hours. I wish they would answer the petition. The servers seem like they have been stable for hours now.

Sparta, all the do is let you know that the character will get unstuck during downtime, even if the downtime is 23 hours away. This happened to me 3 times already, same answer every single time.

Was so bad for me, all this rubber banding trying to dock or jump out of the system that my ship wouldn't even warp anymore as it had no clue what I wanted.
Stuck in the system and filed a petition to get me out of there.
Just because we are paranoid, doesn't mean you're not out to get us. |

it is Saturday and I am stuck twice thus far today and of course stuck yesterday; not to mention the server crashes. Perhaps we can safely call the servers unstable. It would be interesting to know what percentage of players are stuck each day. then i would know whether it is better to go read a book.
