The darkness spreads over the universe. Evil and tyranny infest all corners of Eve. Even in Amarr, my beloved home, the darkness begins to infest the less worthy, the fallen, the trash of society.
But there is hope. We of the Society for Religious Education and Enlightenment are here to spread the word of God by all means necessary. We will not be deterred in our mission to show the unworthy the error of their ways. God is not a choice. He must be accepted or the price is your soul. Those who fail to embrace him are obviously sick and must be treated.
Our SREE treatment hospital on Sarum Prime features the latest therapeutic techniques for the lost and wayward souls who have strayed from God. While our devices and methods may appear primitive to some our success rate is staggering.
As supporters of the Empire of God we support the brave warriors of the CVA and Aegis Militia. We see their good works and the honor they bring to the battlefield against the unholy horde that is the Godless.
Unholy creatures of Matar beware. We come for you. Your time of enlightenment is at hand.

Good show!
What about droids though? Can you do anything with droids? My ITX unit is acting up and I am wondering if you could do anything to solve this.
Anyways, reguardless, best of luck on your mission to enlighten the populace. -----------------------------------

The Wisdom of God teaches us that helping others is perhaps one of the greatest focus a life can have. I heartily support you seeking to spread the Wisdom and Power of God.
I would how ever point out something that time an again is ignored by many factions that form in service to God: The Axiom "You Catch More Flies With Honey Than Vinegar."
Be an example of riotousness; be passionate towards God and passionate in a life spent in service to Him. Be patient with those who perhaps do not understand. Seek to spread the joy and wonder of His Word.
I dare say simply bashing Matari over the head with Holy Books does little more than irritate those you don't capture, and worse, you could dent the Holy Books.
Besides which all you will get by force conversions and kidnapping/brainwash is a small following of mindless slaves. GodĘs Wisdom should be sought after, pursued and genuinely wanted. It is a wondrous Gift I constantly seek to grasp in greater understanding and I marvel at its beauty everyday. No one wants pretend faithful and it can be an affront to those who truly believe.

Edited by: Sarkos on 03/07/2005 13:32:11 Come Monsignor, come and educate us, we await you. Teach us of your dead god, or at least one that has abandoned you for being so arrogant as to place yourselves above all others.
Ask where your god has been while your empire has splintered, a conquered poeple rebelled and overthrown you as well as your once invincible fleet has suffered defeat after defeat. You are pathetic in your blind faith.
We Minmatar have our own faith, one we use to bolster us in times both good and bad. We do not expect our religeon to run our lives for us. We do not have to keep stating that God is with us, for we know in our hearts the truth. Only those with doubts need to constantly spout the words of faith in an effort to remind themselves of what they hope is the truth. A truely faithful person need not constantly remind themselves of ths.
Yes Monsignor, come and try to educate us. We will in return educate you in the ways of warfare. We will help many of you reach your god, if he truely exists. Come and learn OUR lesson.

The God of Amarr is true thats all heretics like Sarkos need to know. He is not dead for He lives in us all. Those who fail to see the truth of His way are doomed thus "The Society" will save them.
It is true some Matari do not see the need for salvation but this is directly linked to their inability to think beyond a primitive level.
Rest assured though in our SFREE Hospital and Reeducation Center we employ techniques that will bring the unholy to a new level of Enlightenment. Our techniques, while considered by some to be barbaric, do not cause long term damage thus are fully within Empire and SPCS guidelines.
I am pleased to announce The Society has applied for membership to the CVA. We are honored to be considered for membership in this fine organization.

Just off the top of my head with out considering all the possibilities I will dispute your notion (thought I am sure it holds true for some) by stating another reason why people who constantly "spout" the Word would do so.
Some of us bask in the Glory that is His Will, we are mouthpieces (or even just good intentioned followers) of His Might. These individuals speak what they know, as a language is spoken by those who were born to it, so to do those who revel in His Light speak of Him and His Glory.
God is what I know, there fore it is what I speak. I am not so arrogant to say that I speak for Him, I am a mere Devotee. But I speak what truth and wisdom I have gleaned from His Teachings and His Word. That, Mr. Masuat'aa Matari, is why I and many like me "spout."
You speak of arrogance? Consider your own words. You dare say you can do what no man is capable of. You claim to know the true motivations of another, as if you have a personal view into the internal monologue of others. Unless of course you forgot to mention you are Telepathic?
Cast not the stones of arrogance if you dwell with in a supercilious house.

You know, I sit back here and watch this stuff everyday on the comm lines. I see filthy Minmatar this. I see slaver Amarr that. You guys just need a good party.
However, I digress. Methinks I'm gonna have to agree with old CometQueen here. She's got the right idea. You try to force crap down someone's throat your gonna get puked on. Sometimes it's violent puke. All projectile and everything. So you may want to watch shoving your god down someone's throat who doesn't want to have anything to do with it.
I mean, the Amarr went about enslaving us for a few centuries. Some of us hold a grudge. Hell, I used to but I got that out of my system. You ain't got any of my relatives hidden away. They all died in a freak cloning/prostitution accident. (It was rather messy.) I realize that slavery was about economics when your Empire was expanding but now it just seems pointless. Personally, I think most of your wives decided they liked the big, Brutor slave boys better than they did you on those long cold nights.
In my opinion, I think your "god" is just justification to be the biggest buttholes the galaxy has ever known. You guys feel tiny and insignificant so you make a big, bad ole god to justify your unjustifiable actions. I mean seriously, do you think a god would want you to purify people based on your idiotic laws? If your god was that good then I don't think the Jove woulda handed it to ya and I'd still be spanking your wife's butt late at night.
I'm not trying to be insulting mind you.......well, yeah, I prolly am, but if there's anything I believe in it's this.
I believe I'll have another beer.
And that Pulgor fella, he's alright with me. Nice guy. A tad smelly but nice. "Fear me like you fear God." |

I already have my own show, it's called "Ask an Ammatar." silly.

As a woman of refined Gallentean ancestry I accept partial responsibility for the failing of our culture to rank most hazardous to the theocracy of the Amarr Empire. I shall endeavor to undermine the sanctity of your religion to reclaim such a coveted position from our Matari cousins.

Madame Kaleigh Doyle, I do not know your religious affiliation but there are two truths I always consider when speaking on the Gallente.
1. God made the Gallente, they are His children and none who claim to worship His Might and seek to understand His Wonder can claim otherwise. You are children of the stars birthed from the most Immaculate Love of our Lord.
2. Worship of God has many facets, but one that seem an undercurrent of all proper worship is Passion. And I dare say there are little more passionate people than the Gallente.
There are a great many Gallente that have given them selves to God, it would there fore be impossible to assume that the Empire ruled by the Gallente is in any way a Hazard to God, to the Church of God or that most preeminent Empire dedicated to His Glory under the loyal Amarrian hand.
And as to your comment on the "Sins of Pleasure," well don't worry because Pleasure is not in and of itself a Sin. I receive such pleasure from God's Grace that my entire life is Joy. I may not have debauch frolicking sexual encounters, but I do not need such hedonism to enjoy life and feel wonderful.
You, Madame Kaleigh Doyle, are joyful and pleasant. I truly apologies if by some way Amarrians have made you feel being who you are in anyway undermines Sanctity. It simply isn't true, you merely do what you do and look stunning while you do it. Go with God Madame Doyle and may peace and joy fill your days.

Yeah, I'm not as refined as you guys. I don't talk real purty or nothin' like that unless I really want too. I do agree with ya though. You ain't gonna come to God or anyone without wantin' too.
Besides, I've always been taught that God is just on the other end of an autocannon. I can't say I disagree much with that either. "Fear me like you fear God." |
