Why we should even consider this ? Because this will limit booting.
To often flying by "neighbour" space i see "pilots", that jump to pos after some neut shows on local, or a "friendly" guy begin to drop probes.
You say - those are not boots - if i manage to catch someone ... and this ship still fire to rats - for me it is boot.
How we can limit bots by boosting afk camping?
Two ways : 1. First create a module that will delay showing on local for some period of time, but only if you login in system. So if i jump by the gate "my id" is read by gate devices and i show on local instantly. But if i logout in a system, and login - with this module im not showing there for about 30 seconds ( as long as im at least 2AU from any installation)
2. Second create stealth combat probes - undetectable on system scanner if they are more than 1 AU from your location , still not to OP them - they should have small scan strength and should be hard to scan something smaller than a battleship. ( i think about version designed only to scan T3 ships - by their uncommon signature) |

I will now look on the market for such rubber bands... truly marvels of high tech wizardry....
(Not that ships should EVER have the option of setting a repeating scan on their own... noooo) Cloaking being on a ten minute manual cycle timer? (Author: Bree Okanata) Fine. As long as there is a ten minute timer for being docked in a station. Also, you can't stop moving in the game. Just add in a way so every ten minutes you are randomly warped to the nearest other player. Keeps people from going AFK. |

I will race to the nearest WH and never come back if those are placed in them. Cloaking being on a ten minute manual cycle timer? (Author: Bree Okanata) Fine.
