[1] I have been playing Eve for a little over a month now and have remained in my starter corp just because I wanted to take the time to learn the game, develop some high level skills, buy some high end equipment, and generally make sure that I was a viable asset to any corporation that I decided to join. Well, I think the time has come to finally join a corporation so I will tell you a little about what I'm looking for, what I can bring to a corporation, and just a little about myself as a person as well. I'm not looking for handouts, free ships or a new profession as a mining drone, just the good company of like minded gamers who want to succeed and have fun doing it. To begin with, I'm 32 years old and a Captain in the US Merchant Marine. I live in the Eastern US (gmt-5) and have been an avid video game enthusiast since the days when Pong was considered uber. :) I'm mature and level headed, and seek the same in my peers when joining an online guild/corp/clan ect. Kiddies and 3l337 d00dz irk me to no end so I definately want to join a corp that steers clear of that type of player. What I'm looking for in a corp is pretty straightforward I suppose. I'm looking for one large enough to provide a framework for a rewarding EvE experience, but not one so large that you become just another face in the crowd in corp chat. Also I'm seeking a tight knit group of gamers that becomes more of a "family" over time instead of just getting a "job" with a corp. Well I think by now you should have a pretty good idea of what I'm looking for, now I'll tell you just a bit about my in game characters. First off Lonewulf was my "main" since I started him when I first started EvE and wasn't really sure what I wanted to do or how to go about it.. as a result he's been on the back burner for sometime now and have trained my warrior alt up (Darth Maul) to be my new main and it's with him that my primary application to any corp will be, althought Lonewulf can tag along to fill in on anything thats required for the corp. Lonewulf was my mining character.. with mining, refining and drone skills at 4. Lots of miscellaneous rank 2 and 3 skills that I bought because I was planning on diversifying his training a little to round him out somewhat. He can also pilot Gallente Heavy cruisers and second level indys, as well as Amarr indy's. Most of this characters Isk went into financing skill packs and buying high end equipment for both characters, but owns a Thorax and a Beastower as well as some good gear like CU vapors and harvestor drones ect.. hes sittin on about 8 mill in isk.. prolly another 4 mill or so in minerals. Darth Maul's (new main) skill path was totally opposite and much more combat pilot oriented. All availiable gunnery skills have been purchased and are currently at least rank 3 or higher except the ones requiring gunnery 5. Engineering is rank 4 and all availiable engineering sub skills are at least trained to rank 2 with others raising as time allows. Nav/AB skills are rank 4 also and can use MWD's. Mechanic/electronics/industry and missle skills have been purchased and are trained to low levels and are raised when the need arises. Darth can pilot Calderi Heavy cruisers, and is close to being able to pilot Amarr industrials as well. Currently Pilots a MOA outfitted with some of the best gear availiable in the game. He also owns a beastower (which he can't quite fly yet) and has around 10 mill in ISK as well as a few original BP's and miscellaneous items. I'd like to thank anyone who took the time to read all this and I hope eventually this will bring me a step closer to finding the corp that's right for me. Since recruitment channel seems to be a total spam fest and waste of time, I am hoping this may have some good results. There are hundred's of corps out there, and this posting seemed the most effecient way of finding the right one. If you feel like my open application is what your are looking for in a new corp member, and also feel your corp is what I am looking for in a new home, please post here or feel free to contact me in game under either Lonewulf or Darth Maul. Thanks for reading. |

[4] You would have been the perfect pilot to be in our corporation, if you were from Europe. (since most players play from 2 to 7PM GMT.) I however wish you luck with finding a family, but i must add that even larger corporations can give you that feeling aswell. With your attitude, you will make a fine pilot for a corporation. It is hard to find people who aren't only interested in whats to take. Cheers, __________________________ http://www.nin.com/visuals/thtf_hi.html |

[7] Lonewolf/Darth, IÆm sure there are many corporations that would love to have you in their ranks, as you have a great resume. As you point out, though, youÆll need to be careful not to become lost as a mining drone within a large corp. ThatÆs why IÆm sure you would find a happy home at Mozzaki Group. Sure we mine (we build our own ships and equipment), but our philosophy very much fits with your way of enjoying the EVE Universe. As it says on our website: ôour members are individuals who donÆt like to be bossed around but do understand the importance of teamwork and having fun.ö Joining Mozzaki will give you the chance to be involved in the creation of what is set to be one of the major corporations in EVE. HereÆs why: There are currently only four of us in Mozzaki Group. However, our ship building business, Mozzaki Research (about 10 members), has already made us very wealthy and has given us superior mining and production capabilities. This means that we have very strong financial backing to explore a variety of activities. We aim to be a diversified corp so youÆd be able to pretty much follow any sort of adventure you want and help grow the corp from the very beginning. Take a look at our website (www.mozzaki.com) for full details. All the best, K Kuriakin - Mozzaki Group Check our website Mozzaki.com |

[28] Perhaps you might deem it worthwhile to visit Hadean Drive Yards (www.hadean.org) and review our mission statement as well as browse over the rest of the site including our forums. Hadean is large enough to get the job done yet not overly so. An added bonus (to you specifically) is that HDY consists of many ex/current military personnel as well as police, investigators etc. All fairly mature people being over the age of 18 (avg of 22+ years old) from all over the world with no time zone restrictions. Regardless of how things work out, best of luck. Picking a corp is one helluva difficult decision.
