So I have done some COSMOS missions, all the level 1 missions, and am only sitting at a .62 Caldari State standing. Now my dilemna is that I can't move on to level 2 COSMOS missions until I have a 2.0 standing with the state. Other than doing corporate missions within Caldari State and completing the one storyline mission every 16 missions... are there any other ways to increase my Caldari State?

Try participating in Caldari FW. You don't even need to kill other pilots, you can get a cheap ship, run out, and run down plexes. Keep in mind that the enemy will try to kill your ship, but it will raise your State standings very quickly. |

Any chance of you getting to explain this a little more thoroughly? I don't know what FW stands for... Faction War?

Doing the tutorial agents also gives a nice little standing boost i have noticed.

Train the connections skill and it will give you a "modified" standing which you can use to access the level two agents.
You can also run all the career agents for State Standings & Data Centres
