Starting today, FIX has changed it's Rules of Engagements in FIX space. We will be working by the NBSI (Not Blue Shoot It) method. This means that everyone with a standing of less than 5.1 will have a KOS (Kill On Sight) status from now on.
Outside of FIX space we will not shoot on Neutrals unless provoked.
FIX space starts at the K7D-II and 3-FKCZ systems and includes the rest of the Querious region below it.

The policy isn't anything new but yes Cartiff was the first one to start beating his chest and screaming NBSI FTW!!!1! in the Xetic forums
Good move FIX. It's so much easier on alliance members when there are clear guidelines to follow while defending your space.

Aye, i trademarked the term "NBSI" long ago while in XF, i was told to stfu and it would never catch on. How wrong they are
Although i came up with the term NBSI, Alliances have been using the same policy since day1, just never had such a catchy name for it.

A small addendum, if upon checking your screen you see "Querious" somewhere around the system name you are in, that should be a hint that you're in our space.
Getting lost/taking shortcuts/looking for (insert alliance here) pilots is no longer an excuse.
Pilots in local saying phrases that start with "Can I just", "I just need to pick up", or "How do I" will result in you being shot at much faster.

Your best bet, most likely, is to head here: FIX General Diplomatic Requests Forum
There you could ask what the FIX folks think of you, your corp, your alliance, whatever. That may get you the answers you need or at least the name of someone you can ask.

How do you guys handle this policy with this 'intersterler starbase syndicate' ? When i first heard the info of them they were not forming an 'official' alliance. So you guys set all their corps to blue? Not sure what the whole news thing meant. sorry to sound iggnorant ;p

AFAIK they do not have access to FIX space. that post was in error. They are nuetral therefore should not be shot by FIX north of K7D, if they enter FIX space then they will be shot like any other non-blue entity.
But they should contact our Diplomats and or JCoS for accurate information.

Time to remove your foot from your mouth, overcopes, Rodney is a 2nd char and the pilot has been around longer than you have.
