k heres the problem
whenever I alttab out of Eve (fullscreen) and do stuff like put on a new playlist, check on ts or make a stupid unconstructive post that doesnt make any sense and I try to tab back into Eve the client gives a hint that it maximizes by minimizing all other apps but it doesnt actually go back to the game
so far the only solution to this that I have found is quitting the client and restarting it
quite annoying to say the least
I already submitted a bugreport a couple of days ago about it
ive only had this program since the Cold War patch
in previous build I could alttab the roof of it and wouldnt have any problems
so there

I wish. Every time I do that I have to reboot the PC to get anything to work. Now I have to run EVE windowed, even though it slows down the whole system.

Try playing windowed mode, but at the full screen resolution you use for fullscreen mode. Then just drag the Eve window up until you can barely see the top screen bar.
Works for me with multiple clients and all the alt-tabbing I want. Been doing it this way for about a year now.

I have the same problem. Probably should go in the stickied bugs thread though. (I already posted it there, but it would be good for CCP to know there is a problem)

Same problem here too. Funny thing is, I was (in my (stupid) case) ctrl+esc all I wanted yesterday on Sisi. So what did they change since yesterday to today that fubared up minimizing?

Agreed. Been playing like this, running two clients at the same time, plus a lot of extra user system tasks for pretty much 18 months. No issues with alt-tab in Windowed mode and you can drag the window to the top of the screen almost hiding the blue border completley.
I hear that running like this means that your proccessor is doing all the gfx rendering instead of your card, guess i have an uber setup coz i don't get any unusual lag

Dam, thats exactly how i play eve too, havent logged into the cold war yet, better try it out.

You can get round this by pressing alt-enter when the game fails to appear. It forces window-mode in the client, and you can then hit escape and change back to full-screen.
Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
