EVE Search - Overview Bug

There is a real need for CCP to look at the quality of data that's being dumped into our client cache, I recently had the overview window completely disable itself and I had to remove files one at a time from cache/settings until the problem went away (along with my window positions and sizing, overview settings and presets, etc etc.) The game is corrupting the game files in our clientside files. This is a bug that needs to be fixed. Yes, technically in response to the petition, it was a correct statement to say they can't verify ship loss due to a bug. I'm sure the log files just list that someone destroyed the player's ship, but can't convey that the overview was not displaying properly. There is probably no way to prove that by the game record. However there is enough anecdotal and screenshot evidence that a problem exists, and something should be done.
