I don't know if you guys set it like this but currently Electronics upgrade V ,Science V, and hacking 1 to be able to use Code breakers, and Science V Survey V Archeology I for analyzers. I dunno but that doesn't sound like a mini-profession to me. Now I can't try the missions out cause it would take a month to be able to. Maybe decress the Lv Vs to Lv III or IV?

Electronic Upgrades, Survey, Science, they quite commonly maxed by scouts (cover opt pilots). So it does make sence. I am happy they starting to mix skills so more benefits come from training some of the basic skills like science.

has anyone found something to use the codebreaker on? i've tried a complex in the ani COSMOS and tried to hack the data fragments .... but those need archaeology

...hmm... survey at lvl5 is a rare thing tbh...

many skills who are not usual for mission runners.
and to many Lv V skills in the req. for this "basic" skills for my taste.. for skills u need in missions..

I didn't have survey at all until last night but I got all the other prereqs for both at level 5. In fact I trained hacking to level 1 and have a codebreaker! Just gonna train survey, won't take long, I'm a high int/mem player

Hacking only for missions? I refuse to belive something that stupid. Hacking should be for secure cans and pos shields too... I hope... or else it's really stupid.

survey V is not common,but survey 4 is more or less. Its quite usefull for people who uses probes a lot.

Be clear about this. You don't NEED these skills for all missions. Just COSMOS mini-profession ones. It's not the end of the world, do other mission types until you're trained up to do these.
CCP has already stated that these mission types are for mid-level players. One would think a lot of those would be in a position to be a level or two away from meeting the requirements for the new skills.

I can't I already have 2 months worth of skills I want to train so I don't have time to train more Lv Vs. Assult ships are much more usefull then these supposed mini-professions.

most mid level mission runners do not have Science V, or anything near it. I think that is really pushing it. *maybe* one lvl 5 skill and some other skills, but two lvl 5 skills? mini professions better be really work it. I was hoping to be a hacker, but with everything else I need to train, I don't have a month to train these up.

muwhaa i got science 5 and electronics upgrade 4 and need to train it to lv5 anyways so getting them skills to 5 not really a big deal to me

yeah, i've thought about it some more and decided it will make me much more exclusive when i do get my skills up for hacking. i really wish it was something useful instead of science V, but that's ok, electronics upgrade needed to get some training anyways.

Hmm, just need to get survey to level 5 (at level 4 now) and I'll have all the skills needed.
But of course I'm already a covert op pilot and can use the longest range probes. I'll have to give these mini-professions a try.
