With all the people complaining about how their characters have been nerfed due to this patch, it would be nice to see an option to re-roll.

you mean clicking on the new character button? or keep your skills, but change attribs, or get an option to remove sps in something and put them in something else?

A chance to rebuild your character, with the same SP's. But you can shape your toon differently, thus avoiding wasting months of training on nerf'd parts.
It happened in EQ2 and stopped a lot of people leving, at that time.

There is an option. Delete your current character, create another.
Simple!

A) There was no Nerf. It now takes a Raven pilot as many skill points to do a lvl 4 as it does an Geddon or Tempest or Mega pilot. And once the Raven has those skills, it is a much better ship.
B) Who would want to re-roll? People who rushed into Ravens to farm level 4's. They have already got their rewards in the from of easy money.
C) On a personal note. Please please please don't say you want Eve to do anything like EQ2.

Its a nerf, and it is because its happened now rather than months ago or when turret changes were down. ravens are now even further behind turret based ships and stand no chance in pvp or missions so the question is did ccp actually think what all the raven pilots could do with there time cause i aint flammin mining.

Can anyone do an SP required comparison to get to the same level with a Raven (for example) as compared to a turret based ship? It seems to me, that if you take skills required for turret based ships such as surgical strike etc. into account, they are probably roughly similar. When comparing setups, make sure you use approximately the same equivalent SP rather than just looking at weapon stats.
