"OMGWTFBBQ"
Okay, I think we all understand "OMGWTF" is a very over-the-top exclamation of surprise and/or other related emotions.
But "OMGWTFBBQ"? I can't even begin to fathom what this MEANS. The only thing I know "BBQ" to mean is "barbeque", which is a cookout on a grill, or a style of cooking generally used at such events. So this would mean...
"Oh my god, what the f*ck, outdoor get-together involving grilled meat"
I suppose there is some story or explanation behind this, but no matter what it is, it can't make up for how stupid and absurd this "phrase" is.
I think "OMGWTFBBQ" is going to get added to my "list of phrases I never want to hear for the rest of my life" right next to all those politically correct things like (A) "s/he" and (B) "Native American" that mercilessly butcher the English language.
[EXPLANATION FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE REFERENCES: (A) When using a pronoun for a theoretical person or a person of unknown gender, the correct pronoun is the "neuter he", which is a NON-GENDER SPECIFIC "he" despite the fact that it sounds like the "he" which refers only to males. (B) I was born in Boston, Massachusetts. I am native to America. I am just as much a "Native American" as any American Indian, which is the real name for them.] ___________________________________________ ^^^***---All things serve the Beam---***^^^ GDBT is recruiting! |

If you're typing so many exclamation points that you're just holding down the shift and 1 keys, and you can't even figure out which key to release first, then you're trying to use more exclamation points than your linguistic skills allow and you need to smack yourself until you are relieved of this urge.

I hate Urban Dictionary because it makes me so sad to see how badly our generation is butchering, maiming, and torturing the English language. And it hurts me even more because it publishes every single submitted definition, and so it gives legitimacy to every single linguistic abomination known to man, rather than squashing them, which is the PURPOSE of a dictionary. Every time I go there, I end up spending all my time giving stupid definitions the "thumbs down" until I get so demoralized, I have to close the website. ___________________________________________ ^^^***---All things serve the Beam---***^^^ GDBT is recruiting! |

You shouldn't start a sentence with "and" while trying to comment on grammar.

Although I make no judgements on the Urban Dictionary's societal worth... If I'm forced to decipher some strange non-English concoction that shows up, I have found that the Urban Dictionary is the only place that can decode it.

Technically "and" is acceptable at the beginning of a sentence. Your third-grade teacher said not to do it because most small children completely abuse it and begin every sentence with it for absolutely no reason. ___________________________________________ ^^^***---All things serve the Beam---***^^^ GDBT is recruiting! |

because even MS Word agrees that it's grammatically correct. ___________________________________________ ^^^***---All things serve the Beam---***^^^ GDBT is recruiting! |

I always thought "w00t" was just a joyful exclamation, very closely related to Homer Simpson's "WOO HOO!" ___________________________________________ ^^^***---All things serve the Beam---***^^^ GDBT is recruiting! |
