It's why I stopped playing years ago and it's why I've stopped playing now; the trial is always long enough to experience the dickbags of the MMORPG world, and they far outnumber the players trying to have some fun. To give more details to my problem, I invested over 400,000 (yes, chump change to some of you with no lives) and two hours into setting up a nice little trade route with a payoff with 61,000 by my calculations. Reached the last system in the journey and was immediately ambushed, but I was flagged as having committed a crime. After being destroyed and jumping away, I am now under a capsuleer timer because I apparently initiated combat with another capsuleer. Again, I was the one who was attacked. So yes, I'm exceedingly disheartened with the game. Feel free to reply, or not. I'm not going to be coming back.

Seems to me your calculations were off, In EVE one must always take into account the possibility that one's nice little trade route has ambush points with actual ambushs in them. As to why you were flagged as having committed a crime I don't know - I wasn't there, willing to bet YOU did something tho. As to the point about dickbags outnumbering those who have fun I have to disagree. The dickbags are having fun too, they are just having fun at YOUR expense. Fly safe. Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

It just stops you from using the logoff as a way ot escape combat. Guess what? you get them for fighting npcs in a belt or mission as well! TBH it sounds like EVE is probably too complex/difficult for you so if this is indeed your last post then you probably have made the right choice in leaving. That is the Way, the Tao. Balance is everything. I'm NOT a Pirate! I'm a privateer!

I think he was talking about the logoff timer... but anyway. I only can disagree with the poster. The trial apparently ain't long enough... Otherwise he would have known, that whatever profession he was trying out, is not exactly profitable, nore fun (unless as stated "no life"). Furthermore I find it disturbing that a trial account posts a completly useless whining/complaint on the forum and then does not even bother to read the reactions to that... should be banned for that (CCP please don't allow him to go on trial anymore pls ) Got enough tears in this section of the forum... no need for more smart-ass rethorical ejaculations.
