HEY OVEUR.
Grouped mining ops bonus.
Just like grouped missions encouraged. do so with mining as well.
Combine it with the Leadership gang skills.
BOOM New skill or skills.
Corp Mining Ops Production - 5% bonus to mining barge yeild per barge in gang per lvl of the skill. or possibly 5% to mining laser yeild while ganged.
Corp Mining Ops Management - 5% bonus to decreas mining laser cycle time per mining laser when used in gang.
I dunno just an idea to promote grouped mining ops.

Or they could do the same as they did with the missle production adjustment.
divide all mineral mass and volume by 10.
that way each cycle brings in 10 times more per cycle and nothing else changes.

increasing mining output with current lvl 4's payout is absolutely FUBARED.
currently, with current ships and mods available safe space absolutely no risk jetcan mining(exploit) is more profitable than solo'in lvl 4's grouped it's probably 20 times more profitable than safe space mission running with current lvl 4 bounties and rewards. the more people in each group the bigger the gap becomes.
more miners = more income
more missioners in group = less income
since when should no risk venture reward people risking their expensive mods and ships.
not saying they don't need to boost mining big time at all but it's reward is bass ackwards when regarding risk vs rewards.

whatever. we did it last night. group mining op time guys ..... lets go hunt them safe space dread guarista dense veldspars.
1 miner has to mine and haul ...doesn't work crap money
2 people 1 mines 1 hauls. my current skills is about 22,500 cargo per half hour and same with alt. = to about 3 mill per half hour just mining veld. 3 mill per person per hour. mine the main toggle the hauler.
3 people = me/alt mining + hauler = about 6 mill per half hour. 12 mill per hour/3 = 4 mill per person just mining veld up from 1 up from 2
4 people me/alt mining, my hauler buddy and his main mining which is = to either my chars and still only one hauler. 18 mill per hour safe space mining veld/ 4 people = 4.5 mill per hour per person just mining veld.
managed to get 30 miner 2's into a belt and absolutely pilaged it.
70 mill worth of basic mins in 5 hours. with 3 people and alts
lvl 4 mission 1 mill total bonus and time bonus. 4 mill in bounties. an average lvl 4 payout(WITH BOUNTIES)
1 person = 5 mill if he can make the time bonus
2 people = 2.5 mill each
3 people = 1.6 each
4 people = 1.2 each
so if your working in a 4 person group for lvl 4's you will need to run atleast 3 good lvl 4 missions to match safe space mining veld per hour to make even close to the same amount as a 4 person mining op.
sorry to say it but very very unlikely that even a 4 person group of organized mission runners can exicute 3 lvl 4's an hour including loot pick up and without that totally worthless.
trust me, we got a network setup to run lvl 4's as a group in one location, you can't get much more organized.
and that's not including any of the navy kill missions they send you on so often that have absolutely no bounties but yet are the harder ships and missions and give you a 300k reward and 300k time bonus.
thats less than 200 k each for a 4 person lvl 4 group that risks the loss of there high priced mods and BS sized ships.
if you get one them missions in that hour, that average is toast.
And where is the logic in risk vs reward compared to safe space group mining or safe space group missioning
and you got the nerve to say that's fair or properly balanced.
lets see took about 50 heavy missles and no medium drone losses to defend our mining op last night.
vs what ammo and drone losses you use ina lvl 4 and or possibility of a ship loss.

there is currently a HARDWIRE IMPLANT tha thas a bonus of 5% to mining yeild bonus.
last checked it was bid up to 125 mill and prolly gonna go much higher
