Am i the only player from those who started in the..2nd, 3rd(?) week who doesnt have a battleship and an equivalent amount of isk in the bank?
I know i play casually, and my brain wont let me do too much mindless stuff for too long... but i have been playing around 2-3 hours a day, average, maybe more since i started and i am still on my way to aford a second cruiser...
Am i lucky because i didnt ran out of game?
Or am i just loosing the race?
As i read these boards i really can't say.
I am having fun, i think...

There's your answer. A lot of the super rich in the game have an amazingly high tolerance for tedium.

You are doing just fine. Some might seem to have more material items, but then again having a bunch of material items doesn't mean you are enjoying the game.

To make you feel better I started in the 2nd week, I have one cruiser a blackbird and saving up for a MOA.
I am pretty poor, play around 2-3 hours a day maybe more, but rarely mine, spend too much time exploring :)

heh, i started on day one and ive got a moa a blackbird and a hoarder. no battleship, no huge amount of isk, and i play 12 hours a day. am i doing something wrong? I do have a battleship skill though among 70 other skills. hmmm maybe if i didnt spend all my isk on skills i might have a battleship. oh ya i also got like 35 million worht of minerals in my hanger and a dozen rare miners, and probly 3 dozen other rare items. oh well i guess ill get that battleship sooner or later. anyone want to loan me 60 million isk to buy one

I trade until my eyes bleed. I'm seriously going to need to be put in a mental hospital soon. Luckily I can surf the web, be in 3 in game chats, a few IRC chats, watch a movie or TV and play other video games at the same time or I would have already pulled all my hair out. Oh yeah, I post on these forums quite a bit too :-)

I was in the same boat as the lot of you until I started looking at what a battleship would cost. When I realized that it really wasn't all that much, I hunkered down and hunted for 4-5 days straight, selling heavy mod beams in the loot. Now I've got a battleship. Although you can't do this anymore, it just goes to show that if you find something that makes you money and you can bear doing it nonstop for quite a few hours a day, you can get there.
