i just sat here and read most of the posts here..and i would like to throw in my biscuit i have only a few hours to play this game cause of kids.work and such,now i could normally get a few missions in a day..lvl 4 that is,now i can,it took me 4hrs to do a ******* gurista extravaganza mission lvl 3..low quality.now its time for a bath and bed.i dont have the required time to do lvl 4 missions if that was anything to go by ..and i sure as hell wont mine.dont pay monthly fee to sit and stare at a poxy asteroid.and i dont get the time to wait around for grps to be formed.so basically im confined to doing ****all basically..so thx for ruining something i used o come home to work too..and use to chill out and think..yeah this is worth the cost.and turret users stick it up ya bum.i can use lasers and such..but put time in to prefered torps as weapons.i agree the raven was powerful and easy to get in to by other bs standards.but after patch they just turned the tables..missle boats are now ****e..turret ships are the best(you had months to train your special skills b4 the missle nerf.and like i said you got the best ships now..so of course you would say oh stop your ******* whining..

dont worry, it takes about a total of 2 days to get back to almost as good as you were before im told, but i haven't used missiles myself since the patch..

and i might add..that the missle nerf is due to all THE WHINNING FROM TURRET USERS

I'm a pest pilot have all the gunnery skills to 4 or 5 as well as cruise and torps trained to 4 and would never have considered trying a lvl 4 solo before even though I had two siege and two cruise launchers fitted as part of my setup. Sounds like you now are balanced that you also need to take some small guys in with you to do lvl 4's or just solo 3's like I do and have.
Is it boring, yea sometimes but get over it, adapt or give me your stuff...

/me runs around blindly...
This was the purpose with the patch, to make missiles somewhat in class with turrets. They where to good before.
Sorry if you dont want to train the new skills, its really not that many. I'm halfway them already and I'm seeing big differences. But my opinion probably doesnt count being a filthy Minnie and all

I also have all the rl crap that forces me to play a few hours a night most days.The point us people are making is that we feel nerfed.the swearing ranting and "cheese with that" etc from both sides wont change that.
it may be closer to the original vision or something.but i saw that from day one and left for over a year as i didnt like it.came back in january and found a different game.now its a bigger timesink again and im having problems stomaching it 2nd time round.maybe it was to easy and to immediate for some but it sure made my playing experience more fun.
so give me that cheese and sod off you cant have my stuff |
