Which bomber is the best / preferred as a ship to be bridged from a blackops for cloaky hotdrops? And is there a "cookie cutter" fit for such a ship? |

Honestly they are all just as good as each other if you ask me, of course you can look as to where you are hot dropping and optomise for torp/bomb payload to whatever the enemy is not tanking against if your going after folks doing anoms, i.e hounds with explo torps/bombs would be excellent in providence as the folks doing anoms down there are tanked EM and therm for fighting sanshas |

That one you don't have Racial Frigate 5 for is usually the best.
But really, eh, it's not a huge difference. The Nemesis has the most annoying fitting, in my experience, otherwise it's mostly about damage type selection.
Realistically, I'd say the deciding factor is the flavor of bombs your FC wants along. |

The one your flightmates are using, because different bombs blow eachother up, while the same ones don't. |

The drinking rules embedded in some black ops hot drops make bomb launchers a big no no for a lot of people. |

bombers can bring a lot of different capabilities due to their unique tactical niche. Sometimes you want them primarily for torps, sometimes for bombs, and sometimes the freedom to use both is more important, despite the fitting difficulties. Bombers can be useful with either type of propulsion, MSE or untanked, tackle or misc ewar. Lows can be nanos, bcus, fitting mods.
For this reason I find fitting bombers to be fairly difficult, since every time I undock one I'll want a slightly different configuration.
When comparing the different races' bombers to each other, the differences are more than just the damagetype. The biggest one is the slot layout. However these differences don't express themselves unless you're being very picky about your fit and needing to use every single TF your cpu can pump out. Fighting is Magic |
