i have just been getting serious with starting missions again and want to get set-up for l3 and l4 missions with a ship for each right now i don't have a ship for l3's anymore since my fleet abandoned me during a mission and got all the aggro and couldn't warp out i was flying a t1 drake passive shielded and wasn't having too much problems.

You can do L3 and L4 in a drake as long as you have patience. Well VS guristas at least it work. Use the money made on that to buy something more efficient while you keep skilling up. |

i'm not poor my friend i have over 1.5 bill and am climbing daily i just want a ship to hold me over on l3's till i get to l4's and get a ship for that simple. |

Drake for lvl 3 missions and lvl 4's when you're training skills that make the Drake stronger.
From there there are 3 options, al three have there advantages and disadvantages and in the end I'd train them all, but that is mainly up wath you feel is fun.
1) Tengu
2) Nighthawk
3) Raven/SNI/CNR

Really? You cannot google any fit by yourself among gazzilions of fits posted on Eve forums and on BattleClinic to just name 2 sources? It's not like L3s are so hard, any BC can handle them easily assuming you have skills to fly BC properly. And L4s are just about switching BC to BS hull and more skills, nothing mysterious about them and there are countless resources on the topic.

Not a launcher, a high slot, meaning the spare utility usually used for Drone Link Augmentor/Gang Links (in fleet) will be gone on February 12th ... but still 7 launcher in full damage mode.

Change hardeners and drones according to the weaknesses of the enemies in missions, and be prepared to drop the Auto Targeting System when the balancing patch hits, but apart from that, it's a solid fit that should eat every level 3 mission under the suns of the eVe cluster ...
For level 4s, upgrade this fit to Tech 2 if you have the patience to munch through BS's tanks with Heavy Missiles, or Google for a Raven/Navy Raven/Navy Scorpion fit ... I won't do everything for you

Actually, while the Drake is losing a launcher, its kinetic missile damage bonus is getting boosted from 5% per Battlecruiser level to 10% per Battlecruiser level, so at higher skill training levels, it's a push, and at BC 5, you might even get more punch out of a Drake.
It's getting slower and heavier, and losing base shield, armor, hull, and capacitor, so it won't be as survivable as before. |

The reason I made this forum post is to find a ship that isn't as op as the drake is well i should say was with how much survivability it had but with how much they're nerfing it i am looking to see if another ship is worth investing in or if i should just stick with it and wait till l4's and get a bs. |

Well, according t what I've read about the proposed changes to all Tier 1 and Tier 2 Battlecruisers (to be renamed Combat Battlecruisers), the Drake will tank a bit less and gank a bit more ... so for missions, nothing changes really : you'll kill faster, needing less tank.
The Ferox looks like it will be a bit more tankied than now, and I didn't carefully read the other races modifications, but all in all level 3 missions in Battlecruisers should still be relatively easy ...
Now, I remember a time when BCs didn't exists, and you needed tons of skills to do L3s in Caracals or (for the truly mad) Moas ... kids these days ... it's way more easy to do missions now with all the ships and ressources available ...

I am also trying to find other ships to try (besides caldari) since I am trained in spaceship command in all races. Keep in mind though I have almost no energy turret skills beyond small lvl 1 I have skills that support gallente (my race) caldari and minmatar. So amarr is out of the question. The reason for that being I couldn't decide what I wanted earlier on and now I am paying for it. |

I have BC5 - been in the drake on SiSi. All i can say is: nano drake isn't anywhere near as good as it used to be. |

another good ship for doing l3 and l4 is the gallie drone boat,but most ships are as good as your skills,as they play a big part in the out come |
