Great site - nice and clean with everything laid out where you would want it. Congratulations all of MC for once again producing something of the highest quality! I too enjoyed the FAQ, especially the dafter bits towards the bottom

Actually, it's closer to seven or eight if you include the skill books and the mods that were destroyed. Then you have to wonder what implants the podded pilot was wearing. 
That's quite a piece of hardware to be flying around in Empire with packs of MC looking for you, not to mention the fact that MASS just declared on IMP as well.

I am though curious about the Navy Raven you guys took down. Never seen one my self let alone fought one. Any chance you could put together an After Action Report and take us through it?
Incidentaly Seleene holds the current record for killing me (3 FOE Contract)

I wasn't there but I've seen the footage.
NSN was coming back from a patrol through FA space when Meyer Meyer [NSN] was travelling through Yulai in his Diemos. Three systems north of Yulai, his scanner told him that a war target had just left the gate. He relayed the information to his gang mates and went after the enemy ship. He confirmed it was a Raven and followed it all the way to Yulai where a medium sized strikeforce consisting of at least one pilot from every corp in ther MC was waiting.
The Raven then warped to the Ourpheh (sp?) gate without an insta where it was confirmed it was in fact a Navy Issue ship. In typical MC fashion, he was given a warm reception at the gate, lasting nearly a full minute before exploding. Strangely enough, the CN Raven pilot didn't fire a single time during the engagement. Upon his sucessful podding, Zajo [TC] was awarded his 45 million ISK bounty.
It's too bad that such a fine ship met its demise in an inglorious fashion but, TBH, we're all still trying to figure out why he was flying that kind of ship around solo with over half a billion ISK in skills in his cargo hold. Doing that in a war, especially with us, isn't a very good idea.

if i was forced to merc I would also have plenty of time to make nice website, but I think I would rather bash my head on the desk repeatedly than merc again.

Well, yes...its me. The guy that lost the Navy Raven. I just now found this thread or I would have posted something earlier. First of all congrats to MC for a nice kill. I wish I would have put up a better fight.
To answer some questions:
1) I have been out of the game for almost 3 months and was just getting all that stuff together to get back into the game (all the skills were capital ship related skills). That was my first time out of the station since the patch, and only my second in nearly three months. I was not even sure what was going on with the new patch. That being said, I was not up on the war at all. I did notice it, but I had 15 mins to get to work and I just wanted to make it to Yulai and dock so I could log. Was in a hurry and made a fatal error. Dont you hate it when RL gets in the way? In retrospect I should have just loged in the previous system. Hindsite is 20/20 after all.
2) I didnt put up a fight because, believe it or not, I had to answer the phone right as I was about to jump through. I was in structure before I even saw what was happening :( Not a pretty site to come back to I assure you. Was just a very cruddy set of circumstances for me all around. Thats just life I guess.
3) I have never been one to pout or cry so I will be making lemonaid out of these lemons! I have flown that ship in combat and used it as my main ship sice I recieved it so I always knew losing it was a chance I was willing to take. I have already replaced the skills lost and will be ready to fly dreads in about 25 days. As soon as I get it up and running (as soon as I can buy one) I now have a fresh set of targets to shoot at:) I have not been part of this war at all until now, but I guess I just got welcomed in.
4) Your teamwork and networking along the travel route were obviously well coordinated. I applaud you for getting a task force together quickly enough to get me. Again, nice kill. That was the first time this character has lost a ship, much less a pod, in well over a year......... it will not be that easy next time.
