Whats up with that? just looked at my backups (T2 ofc) and noticed the bonus was only 2.4 now...
That was a bit weird already, but when I looked at the multispec backup in my hangar it was 2.1 to all....
So then I looked at the jammers...
They where still at original lvls....
Also the sensor strengths on some of my ships are lower too...
eg: tempest you now have to fit with 3 backup IIs to avoid something with 6 multi jamming you (scorp, uber bb of doom)
erm... bb vs any bs ftw or something gone wrong here?

Reduce the chance rather than avoid tbh

have u been away from the game, or have u just ignored patch notes for the last few months??
EW has been changed to chance based, no more stacking, so 6 multi's wont "definately" jam u, they just have a chance of jamming you

afaik they dont really work on 'chance' basis when up close and personal, they still seem to have 100% effect, only past a certain distance do they seem to lose effectivness. this is purely from my experience, however afaik the tech II backups still gave a boost of +4 before the patch and I didnt see any note about reduction in the last patch notes, I will read again. This still does not really explain why there is only a .3 diff between tech II backups and a named tech I multispectral backup

1. No, I can jam a BS with 1 T1 multi now and I`ve done it several times.
I also had troubles to jam BS with 3 t2 racials (scorp, 5lvl BS, 4 signal dispersion).
2. They have an optimal range anf fall off now so the effectiveness decline with distance after optimal.
