Im sorry but really why does one have to train small medium and large turrets to level 5, in order to get the T2 large turrets where as you need hardly any skills to get T2 siege launchers?
This to me is just retarded, either make missiles the same as guns in needing the prerequsites at level 5 or loosten the requiremnts for guns!
Personally i think missiles need to be addressed,
if they want to balance things out, at least do them properly !!!

Have you seen any T2 siege launchers for sale? I haven't. It seems rather moot what kind of training is necessary to use one if they're not available, and who knows what skill requirements will be made necessary when the BPOs are finally released.
So far as I know, only T2 rocket launchers are being introduced into the game. |

Er from the dev blog they have been seeded to the lottery which may or not mean they have been released.

The patch notes only mention T2 rocket launchers.
EDIT: Ok, nevermind. I didn't read far enough. EDIT: Nevertheless, the patch notes seem to contradict what the blog says. |

Maybe people will now start accusing turret users of being whiners given that they've been sitting atop T2 turrets, skills and control systems all this time that the missile users have done without. Joy.  |

I have a better idea: Perhaps we could realize that maybe--just maybe--Eve was not supposed to be yet another 'grind' MMOG where the only way to have good stuff is to play/pay for a really long time, and being good actually required players to have a clue what theyre doing.

Yes, I know what your point was.
My point was that, although you had more to train for if you wanted to specialise, our new seconday skills (Target Nav Prediction, etc) have higher rank than your secondary skills. ---------------------------
