Mm ya its not working
Error message is as follows
Dont give up.. The patch has not bee applied, there was an unexpected error aplying the patch*patch version could not be determined
Fix it new comp and no eve here

Tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling? Or downloading the patch again? Or downloading the full client?

Tryed reinstaling game, tryed the virus thingy gonna try the patch again.
Id rather cancel my account than face the cruel full client dl Wrangler, so CCP might want to fix it if DL'ng the patch again dosnt work

HAHAHAHA
K, following patch day I was trying to download the CD release to current patch; that ended up being a corrupt file!
Then I tried to download the entire new client; that ended up being corrupt aswell!
Meanwhile Oveur was claiming that their files were fine and test, which was bull!
I had to ask other players to host their WORKING files, pookumz I think it was who setup his own server with working files, I downloaded them and it worked like a charm! I can't believe that these corrupt files are still there...
I laugh at you CCP! LAUGH!

the patch didnt fully download most likely.........
look for one of the download mirrors, i used a player created mirror and the file downloaded perfectly.
when i got that error my file size wasnt 68 megs or whatever it was like 100kb .... so obviously it didnt download correctly for me.

Part of my patch was corrupted too, but EVE runs stably so I don't really care one way or the other.
It's funny because it worked right for SiSi.
tip: make sure your bittorrent isn't trying to seed the damn file while you are running the patch. I got nothing against seeding all night.. but yeah.. don't do the obvious.

Yeah well I downloaded 770mb of useless files from CCP... fully downloaded and were corrupt

Ner, look in the sticky thread, look for pookumz name, its around page 20-22... he has links to his files, hope they are still live...

Still not sorted
Hostage those files where from 3366 to current patch. CD version is 934 gemini.
Tryed the full clien DL now twice and it freezes on 85%

i had the same problem .. and heres a few tips for ya ..
Try using windows safemode ... sometimes it works..
Try downloading from Bittorent .. that works for me .. no more faulty files ...
If all that fails .. try downloading it on another computer and install it there .. transfer via LAN or burn it on disk and u are all set .. i had to use this last one in order to get mine to work ..

I use this site to download my patches, so far it hasn't let me down.

If you're having problems downloading the files try using a download manager such as getright.
I did notice I was having huge problems downloading on patch day. The download would get to a certain point, usually fairly early in, then 'finish' and claim the download was complete. Well quite obviously it wasn't and upon restart of the download it wouldn't even start!
I ended up downloading the patch from one of the community mirrors in the sticky.
