I played the trial three months ago. I just decided to come back and sign up a couple days ago. I downloaded the client, installed, signed up, started playing my old character.
Apparently somehow an agent is present in my People listing that is bugging up my character. My right click in empty space is broken, as is my People and Places, Journal, map (when I try to display agents), the agents tab in stations, and it's rather frustrating. About all I can do is mine (and I can't set up waypoints because People and Places is bugged).
I've tried uninstalling EVE and deleting my entire EVE directory (yes, including the cache) and it didn't help. The GMs are stumped. Does anyone here have a clue as to what to do?

I'm afraid you will need to continue petitioning the GMs about this. It will most likely require database intervention to get your character working
Other then that, have you tried making an Alt character and seeing if it has the same issues ?

Other than deleting your cache folder (create a backup called cache_old first) it would be data-base end issue.
As a single user ticket you may not hold the priority of a issue that effects multiple users. As suchyou should try to resolve this issue yourself in the first instance.
Please try the following.
Uninstalling the eve client.
Delete the eve folder.
Delete the whole CCP folder.
Reboot pc.
Download a FRESH copy of the game.
Install game.
Retry.
If this fals then it shows that it is not your install of EVE and that it is server end.
You can try as the most estemed ISD vol above suggested, and tbh you will get the same resulting answer each way, however the above method will near enouth guarentee to source the area of the fault.
