With the death of Doriam II will there be another Amarr Championship to select the new Emperor similar to the previous event?

If they are to keep in with tradition and the backstory they should have another Amarr championship 
Even though I'm a caldari char I'd liek to see things kept in line RP wise

Actually, having democratically elected pod-pilot champions fighting it out is not the traditional method of selecting Emperors.
It's only happened the one time.

Yes yes, very good your... emperorness...
As for the Championship frig fight, it is not a tradition. The competition between the Amarr houses is the tradition where the heirs have to either take part in a challange (to be specified) or they can enlist a champion to compete for them.
The last championship happend to take form as a frig fight because it was agreed upon by all houses. It could just have easily taken the form of a spelling contest, a game of slaps or speed text messaging had it been agreed.
The form of the contest to determine a winner is not set, just that the heirs from each house need to compete.
I would like to know how they will do this though without a Sarum heir having been descided yet. I forsee chaos for the empire.
