Has anyone else tried using the To Hanger & Refine straight from your ships cargo hold. I have tried it 2 times now and the minerals dont appear in my items. They show in my assets at the station though.

Yup I have had the same problem only from a station container. I have also heard others have too. I did not know they showed up in assetts, that might help in the petition, atleast there is some proof of it!
Hmm how much did you lose? I lost 2 days worth of mining! something like 400km3 of ore! I was so ****ed!

fortunately i have not lost anywhere near as much as you have but still very annoying all the same.

Yes it happens to me too. If I dump the ore to the deck first then refine its ok. If I refine fromt he cargo hold the residual appears on my deck but the minerals do not show up. They do show as assets when I leave the station.
I didn't catch this for 3 days! I sure hope I'm not screwed outta all that ore! 
Petitioned it 2 days ago no resolution as yet.

Me too, refined from hanger and *SSHHAAAAZZZAAMMMM" it all disappeared. Clever CCP! All i wanted was to build my tempest. Had to go out and mine - again!   
Also reported it as a bug. No reply except for "your problem can not be resolved at the moment. Please bear with us"

Yeah Im having this problem too. CCP please fix this fast, it's quite a major problem and annoying too

Yeah it happened to me twice before I figured out what happened. I only had a few hundered ore in the hold anyway but it was still a shame to think that I had wasted my time in the end.

ive lost all of my ore :(
once i refined my last load, not knowing about this bug all of the ore that i had stored from previous mining ops had gone.
Everythings still in my assests but as soon as i dock it disappears from my assets and doesnt show up in my hanger.

This seems to be a display only problem. The items haven't *gone*, they just dont seem to display, like the hanger,container, items window is not updated.
A workaround is to force the window to update, close it and reopen or sort by ... also seems to make the items reappear.

Well I exited the game and restarted it and they are still missing :(
2 to 3 hours of mining to fill me ships cargohold up and shazzzam and its all gone :(
Its happened to me twice now also and I have lost over 400K ISK :(
Oh well.

Dont Feel Bad, I Refined Two Corp Mining Events with to hanger and refine, and notta its all gone, refunds? Would be nice, but I'm not holding by breath.

same as klosj, I made a petition and got my items back within hours. If you can't get them back yourself, petition and let CCP fix it.

yeah i lost a bit, but it wasnt from my ship cargo, it was from some station vaults i use, i piled my stuff into there, chose "to hangar and refine" and nothing happened, i gave up worrying after i thought it may have just dumped it in my corp's hangar, and i couldn't tell cos it would have just added to our current ore. I did think it strange to find ore in my assets and not in my hangar though.

Petition it, I did so after losing two days of two characters mining, I had the ore all stored in storage containers and used the "to hangar to refine" and proceeded to do all the ore this way, when I went looking for my minerals I flipped out.
About a week later I recieved and email and all the minerals were in my hanger at the station for me.
