What I have been told is that they respawn with more than they would grow back in the same time. By several people.
So orders were to pop the suckers. Trak Cranker |

But why is it that when I run into a good solid 0.0 mining system that has a station and tons of people used to mine at, many of the astroid belts are either 100% PERMANENTLY gone, OR there are some astroids in the "belt" but they are tiny and spread out over hundreds of KM?
It seems something caused these astroids to just quit respawning, or to respawn in really inefficient patterns.... so what caused this... and if this is not how it is supposed to work anymore, why wont the GMs reset the astroid feilds that are totally screwed up and have been that way for over a year back to their original settings?

Some systems have up to 50% of their belts gone. IE, you warp to the map point and theres NOTHING there.
