You have to realize something about spawns of probeable signatures in space. If they're never warped to they're never activated.. So, if noone has probed the system for a while and/or bothered to warp to the holes, then their lifecycles have not started and therefore will remain indefinitely.
All of those hole types (n432, x702, etc) are outgoing meaning you initiate their connection to another location and would support that hypothesis. Where as, if the theory wasn't true, then you should expect to find K162's as well if this was a random aberration of the game to have all these holes in one system. No, those holes were probably there for weeks gradually building up due to lack of activity in the system.
In w-space people talk about spawn rates dropping when you move into a system. I've never subscribed to this theory. It may even be outmoded by now. It's easy to understand when people find a hole with 30 anoms, etc in it, move in then they're left with little to farm for the duration of their stay thinking "OMFG the spawn rate dropped". It's not that the spawn rate has dropped. It's that all those anoms, etc have never been warped to and their lifecycles have not been activated. The spawn rate is constant along an average so they build up and continue to do so until someone moves in and starts farming the system regularly keeping it clear of anoms.
And thus, is why you found this system with buttloads of wh's in it. That they were all EOL means someone got there first, warped to them and started their lifecycles which are usually between 16 & 24 hours for most holes.
