But where the heck is the other 47,105 accounts?
Just thought I would toss that out...
Free-form Professions, ensure no limetations on professions. Be a trader, fighter, industialist, researcher, hunter,pirate[/i] or mixture of them all.

Well at least it says something about the "OMG have canceled all 27 of my account becuase misiles suck and cold war is only for the rich" whiners.

It says absolutely nothing about that. The only thing these numbers tell us is, that there is a new content patch and people want to try it out.
BTW.: Hope some of the devs would look in the 'Known issues & workarounds forum' especially at the thread 'Lagging after patch, wasn't before'. If they fix this issue, then I'd be able to play under Win98SE again with two clients running at the same time without ctd and I could help to raise the numbers ! Now even 1 client under win98SE is almost unplayable.

Some of the problem may be new programing in the game that win98 cant handle? I dunno. But you gotta remmember, thats over 7 years old now, hell Microsoft isnt supporting it anymore are they?
