Were you ever able to create a Jovian Character? I have not been playing eve since Beta or way back then like alot of players have. I remember seeing either one of the Devs or GM's having a Jovian Character and hence this thread. IMO the Jovian characters look really cool  but o well

no, jovian is not a race players can chose yet, but i believe they r adding jovians in the next expansion

kali is the next big expantion, like exodos (a.k.a. shiva). They have never said that jovans will be out, but instead the opposate, if it happens, and thats a big if, it will be in a long, long time. Right now, there dev-only. New bloodlines are slated to come out at some point, but thats just variations of current races, not new ones.

It's something to look forward too though. So more new players with less skillpoints can enter the game and do something new. Least that's what I think was the point of the race to begin with. Being I know I would make a Jove if they came out 2 years from now.

I think CCP already said some time ago that the Jovians will never be playable characters.
they are in there for some future storyline stuff.

In beta it was said that you could evolve into a Jovian after following a unique path and u would then be able to create a jove character. But like alot of other things this idea is probably scrapped.

Imagine if Jovians were made playable. Is there anyone that wouldn't be one? For a rare and mysterious race they'd suddenly take over the universe. Maybe once they invade, CCP will release them so the flood at least makes sense plot-wise.
Jovian equipment is better than everything. If it is released it will break everything. No player should be allowed to have this, except perhaps me, as I'm the only one that can be trusted to maintain the image.
