I am having trouble with Level 3 missions and there is no way I can do them in my Rupture cruiser. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I currently have:

3 x 720MM Howitzers
1 x 425MM Medium Carbine Repeating I
3 x Advanced Limos Heavy
(no more room for a 8th weapon)
Medium
Cap Recharger I
Large Cap
Thermal Shield
Large Shield Regen
Low
3 x RCU
1 x Nano CPU
Power
CPU - 452 / 493
PowerGrid - 1592 / 1683
Cap - 2046

5x 650mm Artillary I, 3x Assault Launcher I
1x Large Shield Booster I, 2x Shield Boost Amps (Cyclone gets boost bonus so make the most of it), 1x Cap Recharger I
3x Power Diagnostics and 1x Co Processor
If that doesnt fit...send me a convo

I got everything with 2 x heavies and 1 x assault
I was able to do things, but still had to warp out a few times. These missions just don't seem efficient.

This is the setup I would use against serpentis. It would not work efficiently against most other NPCs, but you didnt specify what you were usually encountering.

Use my Cyclone against all but laser-shooting npcs.
5x 425mm ACs
OR
5x 650/720mm Howies
3x Assault Launchers
10MN AB, Large Shield Booster, 2x NPC-Specific Hardners
4x PDU
OR
3x PDU, 1x Gyrostabilizer
I tend to prefer the 425mm AC setup. Howies work just as well, I simply dont like running away from npcs like a little girl.

I dont run from npcs in my Cyclone, I regularly engage npc frigs under 10 km with my 650s

3xHeavies with Widowmakers
Medium shield booster, Therm hardner, Kin Hardner, Amp
4X PDS2's
Usualy warp in at 40km and pick the frigates off with the 720's and missles for cruisers. This is Serpentis/Gurrista setup..

I use almost the same setup except i use 1 EM hardener instead of Kinetic, against Amarr or Angels using Fusion ammo.
Ow, and i only use T1 PDU's but a T2 Med Shield booster.

Not flying a Cyclone myself, so just a random hint: Get Electronics and Engineering to V soon. =)

To be able to fit properly you need Engineering, Electronic, Weapon Ugp to lvl 5 very very soon and Adv. Weapon Ugp 4.
Your life will be a lot easier!
For fit:
High:
5x720mm (ammo specific to target)
3xAssault Launcher (missiles specific to target)
Med:
1x10 MN AB II
1xLarge Shield booster (named or Tech 2)
1xTracking CPU (Named or Tech 2)
1xCap Rech (Name or Tech 2)
Low:
4xPower Diagnostic Unit 2
But man, lvl 3 missions are riskier nowadays, stay away from Spy Stash mission and you'll be fine!
