Have been looking at all the different sites and trying to figure out if you can load 3 strip miner 1's on this pig? Tried the "Ship Setup" Sticky but it is blank. And have looked at Eve-I.com, but no Covetor yet.
It shows it has like 50 power and each Strip miner only uses 10. And it does have 3 High Slot available. And using these on a Mining Barge drops the CPU useage down to 60 each which is within the limit of the 200 available.
But I was just wondering if there was a limitation or something I should know about before purchasing one.
Thanks in advance for any help...

I have access to all market data. Believe me, we have not reached anything close to deflation yet.

You can fit 3 strip miners on it mate. i have one and it can be deceptive to see your grid compared to the needs of the mods. but the barge has a built in bonus to allow you to use them.

Thank you all for your replies. I wasn't for sure as I just returned to Eve after about a year being gone. A lot of things have changed and just trying to catch up.
Again thanks...

My set up is 3xstrip in the top. Sensor booster in mid. and 2 overdrive injectors in low. The thing has armour like wet cardboard. I go for a quicjer lock on rats and use the drones. it has survived in 0.5 no probs.

Just currious but why would you use a sensor booster?

Because the stupid ships only have a 27km target range. You could send your drones further then that but you need a lock first.

I think Dave Scotland said it best when he said he used the Sensor Booster to lock on quicker to send out the drones. --

but remember. that large barge, impressive as it may look (with the moving parts, and the giant mining lasers) is still made of cardboard. held together with spit and cheap glue and painted to look like metal. tread Very carefully when you take it lower and lower.
