A lot of us have spent a huge amount of time training for the ship, specializing in it instead of choosing to go for the flavour of the month ship types.

Velator is the best noob ship out there. I've killed cruiser spawns in it, and it will rip any other noob ship apart (all true)

It's not the Velator that'd overpowered, it's the Civilian Electron Blaster. It completely outclasses a Civilian Railgun, Civilian Autocannon or Civilian Gattling Laser. Combined with the Velator's damage bonus, this meaks it highly unbalanced.

The velater is the worst lookin ship in the game
While the thorax or mega is the best lookin
