Since the new patch, CTD are gettin more and more often  no idea why, but anyone else having same problem?

You playing full screen?
I have found playing windowed at desktop res increases stability.

since patch i crash about 5-6 times a day.

both full screen and windowed, and same as odet, i crash at least 5-6 times a day

I've seen people in my corp and other channel crash more frequently as well after the patch.... I don't experience any crashes whatsoever so I can't contribute anything much worthwhile apart from the fact that CTD's are more frequent now.

Multiple CTD or sudden freeze of the game followed by CTD. Never had any problems with crashes before patch. Also the game tends to freeze now when being taken into the background :(

yep. have that too.
Before patch i never had CTDs, but now after i have it 3-4 times a day.

Sounds like graphics card problems. Can everyone who si affected post their graphics card and the version of the drivers they are using and also whether or not the card is overclocked?
It's possible that you card is overheating because it's summer now and it has little if nothing to do with the patch. Possible, but unlikely.

I crash when window moding or full screening, or when running two accounts while window moded. "Sun is occluded by ships" Is also still bugged, and even though i have it checked to be off, it's compleatly random weather it is or not. It switches when i jump or dock/undock. If i'm running 2 accounts and the sun is occluded on one and they are both in space, the one with the sun not occluded will crash.

half of our corp seem to be suffering this problem as well since the patch especially when using alt-enter to change the screen size

Any of you overclock your systems? More and more games seem to be highly sensitive to overclocking.

nope to my knowledge none of our corp overclock we all use different spec machines an isp's hence browsers ect, but most of us seem to be having loads more probs since the patch hence bug?

I very rarely ever crash but mnimizing game to read forums breaks th egame so I have to close client down and log back in.

I have crashed a few times since patch, which didn't happen ever before. I turned off "Load Station Environment", and it seems to have fixed the graphics error I kept receiving.

That'll teach me for saying I never crash...... happened to me for the first time last night (twice). The first time I was heading to dock, had ALT+ENTERed to switch to windowed mode so I could go scan the forums, as I dropped out of warp, CTD.
The second time I'd been idling for a while (in fullscreen) after using Eve in windowed mode and tack switching between Opera and Eve (looking at faction ship stats in Eve-I), when I decided I'd had enough, I said bye bye to my channels and was about to hit ESC to go to quit, when it CTD again.
I'm running Win2K, all the latest M$ Patches, Radeon 9800Ultra 256Mb GFX card, Athlon XP 1800, 1.3GbRam and stable (but probably old) GFX drivers. nothing has changed on my system (not even an M$ update) since the Cold War patch.
