why no animation or graphics when you web someone or get webbed? =P would be nice if another player could see that an npc/player is webbed

There is one, or at least there was before the patch; I don't remember if there is since then.

Its gone, its a bug.
According to the patch notes, theyre fixing the 'webber graphic stays after the ship is destroyed' bug. Now they just have to fix the bug where it never appears in the first place.

When you're in combat you should be watching your speed and transversal velocity anyway, so there's no excuse to have lost a ship to not being able to see the webbing graphic... all it does is look pretty anyway.
