If you are bored of the solo contents and in particular of mining you could go on different approaches to the mining activity like, you know, stuff that makes it more challenging and exciting like mining with your monitor turned off, using your mouth to move the mouse when mining, mining upside-down and bunjee mining (only for veterans).
-_-
This game is a mmorpg its not meant to entertain as single player for over a year... I mean not even games designed for single player use can be funny for so long... imo u shud get into the PvP aspects (I dont mean fighting, but anything that involves dealing with other players).

I just won this argument and therefor this thread needs to be locked now. Anyone who agree's with "the woman won her claim" is exactly WHY I posted on this thread. You proved me 100% correct.
Yes she won the claim, but should she have?,,,, NO, if you didnt realize a cup of coffee is HOT you deserve to get burned. IF you didnt REALIZE an MMORPG is not Half-life then you deserve to get burned.
Lock thread now :) point made..

Oh i understand your point now: But i totally disagree with you. She should have won: read the case and then you'll know y
Let's get this straight, if a girl has to be "rescued" 10 times a week from a brothel shes not a damsel but a prostitute.

Please, give us a quick summary of why she should have one. For all these years, I've been VERY much of the opinion that she was, in fact, a tard. Furthermore, by whipping out that little "She should have won", you made me suspect that you might be one too.
Now, while we're on the topic of tards, how about a little dose of Tard Blog? ___________________________________________ ^^^***---All things serve the Beam---***^^^ GDBT is recruiting! |

Tea should be made with boiling water, coffee should not.
Honestly, this forum is just so uncultured.

I'm sorry to say Vice but this was the most construtive reply that I ever seen in this forum. Not only due to its benefitial content but also to its stupidity.
SINGLE PLAYER or MULTI-PLAYER should be a option chosen by who pays to play this game.
SINGLE PLAYER can inflict too much pain on a MULTI-PLAYER group. (Like you did it long time ago)
So why a player now needs to change nappies of other players just to have some fun?
As far as I know ICELAND is not in ARGENTINA, coz only in ARGENTINA TANGO will require 2 to dance. If EVE goes to be TANGO then stick it on the bin.

In case you weren't aware, it was McDonald's coffee. Coffee really shouldn't be prepared with water, much less boiling water (steam brewing is the only way to get a truly good cup of coffee), but if you buy it from McDonald's, you need to expect it to be dark-colored boiled water. ___________________________________________ ^^^***---All things serve the Beam---***^^^ GDBT is recruiting! |

Eve isn't designed for single players.
The fact is if you insist on playing solo you will just have to learn you are much more limited than a group of players are.
This is Eve, not freelancer or X2.

This is a multiplayer game.Designed to be played as such.
You are free to play the game however you want, but do not complain if your choice to play the game a way it was not optamised for degrades your playing experiance, as you have only yourself to blame.

Aha, but steam is water in gas form.
"Water" is liquid and ice is solid. Therefore the coffee is brewed in water whichever way you look at it
@the OP. You said you wanted a challenge. Doing a mission in ravens amounted to mashing the f1-f6 key and counting torps if you were cheap.
Now you have a challenge

Originally by: Vincent Lionhart So someone explain to me, is there, for the love of God, any single player content left in this game. I'll get active in a corp after I've had my fair share of NPC battles...suciding into Level 4 missions isn't my idea of expierence.
Not to be flipant but you really need to read things like this:
Dev Notes on COSMOS
I have not tried them (yet) but the discription of the storyline based missions seems tylor made for you.
Generally reading the Dev notes is a good thing so you can plan out what you want to do next in the game (once new content is out).
Good luck and fair winds.

Edited by: Disaster Case on 14/07/2005 11:22:16 Edited by: Disaster Case on 14/07/2005 11:20:58 Uhmm.. quik point... You all are generalizing PvP a bit i think. When you think about it.. maybe he was doing a sort of PvP. He was mining, and manufacturing (assumption made) and then attempting to make money by selling his products... against other players prices. So it boils down to (forgive the reference to the boiling hot coffee) He was competing against other players (PvP??!!) in a specific way not usually interpreted as such. To be more specific, to the original poster, bud.. get out into 0.0, check out the fleet battles, get owned and deliver some fiery deaths upon your foes, assemble a POS and maintain it. NPC in 0.0, do the new COSMOS missions and train the new skills, try your hands as a covert ops scout/mobile bookmark. Tons to do but one beautiful thing about Eve is there is something fresh and new around every corner! It's just up to you to find it... >cue cheesy reading rainbow theme<

EvE is a community and team based game.
Maybe Vincent needs to get more involved with his corp, corp ops, forums, corp chat and teamspeak.
Maybe his corp doesn't offer those things?
Who knows.

Viceroy... stop making constructive comments, please... people might think the account has been swapped pwnership.
But too be honestly serious, V. does strike a valid point here. If you want to swim with the big fish, act the part, if not... be content with what you have.
Afterall... the outrageous rewards in lvl 4 missions have damaged the economy enough. And maybe now it is possible for prices to settle down again and become more realistic.
I mean: 3.01 ISK for Tritanium.... THAT is OUTRAGEOUS!

Edited by: Joshua Calvert on 15/07/2005 16:51:41 I'm a bit bored of Eve too, tbh.
I've not had much time to play the last few months; I always managed to squeeze in some PVP but since the highway got changed, I can't be bothered to sit and stare at the screen while doing 20-30 jumps to then sit and wait for something to happen.
The more "long-term" Eve becomes the less fun it is, for me. There isn't enough things to do that you can do in half an hour and feel you've gained a little something. Feels like you need at least a 4hr game session to do anything, even if its just a simple trade run.
Edit: It is probably why I'm playing BF 2 so much lately. You simply jump onto a server, hook up with a squad, and within 2 minutes you're blowing stuff up.
