hi i know some of you dislike sacmers but its part of game and ccp allows it but today i saw that a gm returned cash that i scamed off someone.
the rules say it :
What exactly is a scam?
A scam is when someone tries to use another playerÆs trust, confuse him and/or take advantage of his ignorance, to cheat him out of his possessions. When this happens, a GM will not be able to assist you.
so why that gm returned the cash?? he got no right to do cause it was a simple and "fair"scam ive done. i petit this and hope they gime back "my cash". what you guys think bout this???

Lemme get this straight. You're complaining that a GM returned money to someone you griefed?
Theres a difference between legitimate money-making schemes in EVE and making other players miserable.

its not the point that i griefede off someone its the point that the rules allow scam check under find answeres out and you will see that the gm wasnt right with returning the cash. ask around all thoose who got scamed if they got returned there cash/stuff?? im sure no one got it back think about them!
ccp allows it so it will be done

i would think that maybe you had scamed a GM then
but that would be hardly likly if you assets are still intacked

the person i scamed wasnt a newb otherwhise i couldnt scam 70 mills out of him eh??? evry player knows scam after 3 days of playing and again :

scamming is fine if you didn't exploit any bugs in the game or the trade forum to do it. if he gave you the cash because of being too gullible or because of not paying attention i don't see why he should get it back.

Exactly. I don't approve of scamming either but it is permitted in EVE, so why should the money be returned?
Tbh this is very vague. "Scam" can cover all manner of activity. You'd need to be more precise about the nature of what took place.

GM's should definitely stay out of this. Even though I don't personally think scamming is ok.

If its an experienced player, and the scammer didn't break any rules (exploiting etc) obtaining the money, I don't see why the ISK was returned, but I still really don't have any pity for scammers. IMO its a spineless act.

Your opinion of scammers is irrelevant. The only issue at hand is whether what he did was allowed or not.
He was not asking for pity.

I agree with the man. It's not right to have the money sent only once back. I think GMs should do it every time and all scammers should be banned from the game. That would be justice.

mh as i can see out of this hes at right ccp allows scaming and heck it got me 3 times so far and i got nothing back then a lol from the gms and other players i hate scamers but gms shoudl stay out of this or just forbid this. give him back the 70 mills he "earned" them

GM actions are not up for discussion on the forums. If you disagree with any of their actions please ask a senior GM to review your case.
