Why are there no +missile damage or range or whatever hardwired implants? I have searched both the online database and the market in game (showing even unavailable items), and found a wide array of gunnery mods, for every kind of turret and for essentially every key gunnery stat, and in varying strength. However I haven't seen a single one that affects missiles. Does anyone know why that is?

It's because prepatch, there were so few stats to even boost with missiles, plus the fact they were very effective without any help, that there wasn't a need for them.
However, I really really think there needs to be some hardwires put in for the new missile skills very soon. If they would have put them in at patch release, it might have alleviated the need for everyone to train up their new missile skills for so long to be good, but seeing as the time for that is past, they should just put them in asap.
Think about it, right now, regardless of if many people use them or not, turret users can get basically ALL their turret skills to level 6 with no training time. That's a massive bonus, one which missile users, now already behind on skills, have no way to achieve. Makes it very unbalanced post patch.

Well they did give us a bunch of shield orientated implants however.
although the armor/turret implants work very very nicely for amarr ships. can easily boost large energy turrets 6%, 8% or 10% and still extend your armor HP and repairablity.

At the very least they could extend the turret fitting implant to missile bays

Well here's a nice little quote I like making available since posted so recently by the big man himself.
It's not that they can't and this comment even says implants are a relatively easy implementation ingame.
Originally by: Oveur I'll see what of this we can easily do without programming. Skills, Tech 2 barge, Implants and such is quite straightforwards.
If comet/gas stuff was straightforward and didn't require intensive programming, it would be in already.
This has been a topic of discussion many times before and being missles worked a bit too good there was no reason to but in light of this new patch and the above comment. I really would think out of terms of balance that us missle users are due the implants now.
now as in this point in tranquility status not I want my uber implant at this moment.
i just hope "if" they do give them to us that they fit in the slots that are not used by the shield boosting implants just like the armor tanking turret user can use the armor implants and turret implants in conjunction.
You poor minmatars have a tough time tho being combine turret missle user plus do you armor tank or shield tank. tough choices on hardwires for you guys....... i'd say guns and speed for your best choices but still.

As mentioned, they have only just changed the missiles so any implants needed to be factored in/balanced.
Now given that you would expect them to appear soon and one can only view that CCP are still overlooking the missile changes and may still change them as and were they feel the need.
So in all fairness they should be out but view hte lack of them as a sign that missile changes aint over yet.
But, you also have to factor in that there are NO ECM hardwiring implants and those changes were a a while ago now. So like ECM people you may be left out as a secondary specilisation with the view that each race has there own turret type to specialise in and missiles and ECM are secondary considerations and as such get no implant loving.
I of could be totaly wrong bu if I am and see missile implants soon then I'd be expecting some ECM ones as well, or I get to scream and cry foul :o).
