This was a kill in a CONCORD-sanctioned war, yes? So the indy pilot knew there were hostiles out and about who would be trying to hunt and kill him? It's pretty easy to evade a lone pilot, even in an industrial, if you're prepared (instas, warp core stabs, nanofibers, etc.). Berating the killer for killing an unarmed ship is all well and good, but perhaps some scorn should be directed at the pilot flying an unarmed and unprepared ship in a warzone?

You know.. In the end, one corp has losses and the other doesn't. Sounds like the one without any losses is winning this war. Wars are hardly ever fought on an equal playing field. If the corp is at war and has weak industrials out there, they're targets. No less so than a heavilly armed battleship. In fact, moreso than a battleship because it's likely to be carrying over 20mil worth of stuff and will dent the corp's assets more than a battleship being lost.

Poor industrial corp getting picked on, and can't really seem to protect themselves.
Poor Mad Killers with nothing better to do than brag about killing indies and shuttles.
