CCP has found a new target audience for their game:
Unemployed player who have the ability to play 24/7 EVE, those have enough time to do time-consuming missions or complexes with worthless rewards.
Casual players or players with a regular employment are not wanted anymore.
This is the death of EVE-Online.

No, they've simply put things back to how they were 9 months ago, before level 4 missions and complexes were "OMGWTF TEH UBAR".
In a good complex, the reward should be the drop, not the bounties. Previously, I could sit in the 7/10 complex down in feythabolis farming NPCs as they spawned (the BSs spawned as fast as you could kill them) and get about 35 million an hour. THAT WAS NUTS. --
Want your POS to make money? Call me up. I've designed POSs that make upwards of 50m a day. |

Stepping backwards is not always a good solution. We are talking about the present, not the past. ____________________ CEO Denial of Service

We have moved forward into a new era.
An era where a nub in a raven cant kill a frigate.
An era where you get a decent reward for mashing the "f" keys and not an obscene reward.
Adapt...or whine.

Did you know that "This is the death of <insert mmorpg name here>" is the most tired, overused whine sentence in mmorpg history?
This is not a rant, this is the truth. ;)

Yeah you're right but *you* farmed 35M/hour in the past and have that money in the bank. Everybody else has to suffer the inflation effects. Noobs, returning players, people who didn't complexfarm etc. Anyways, hope we see a bit of deflation soon coz some of the prices I see in modules/ships channel are insane.

"This is the death of <insert mmorpg name here>"
I remember seeing that shortly after EQ came out.
Not to mention all throughout EQ's life, with various major events. New Expansions, other MMORPGs coming out.
I think people add that to their rant threads to give them a certain amount of dramatic flare, but now it does just the opposite to any experienced reader.

And why is 35 mil per hour "NUTS" I can make close to 100mil per hour solo mining mining ark/bis/crok. How was 35mil per hour so far out of balance with mining.

Who ARE you? also even a player with all the new skills to 4 still cant kill a frig, so that argument is still void.

Oh, I see plenty of players claiming they can kill frigs. I prefer to believe them since their head isnt up their arse.
Guns and drones. SMALL launchers. Torp spamming doesnt cut it anymore.
You know who I am. Look up my character info. You will see I am a main character. Not some RSS alt or antisocial idiot that never joined a corp. Yes, I have the strength of my convictions to post with my main.

K what I have to say is.. STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT TEH NERFFIJ! Seriously people my eyes are bleeding from reading all this stuff. Nerfing is for the good of all players, so the game is more balanced and it isn't REALLY easy for certain people to get ub3r 1337 in a matter of a few hours of gameplay. I don't think the game would be fun if everyone was running high level complexes in ravens with all the same setups? I am sure if you have ever played Diablo II that you would know how boring that is. And seriously, EVE was starting to get to the point where D2 was pre-1.10. If you don't know what I am talking about as far as D2, nevermind, just read what came before that. I am sure CCP thought a lot about each and every "nerf" they were going to implement and what impact it would make in gameplay and the economy. These guys know what they are doing.

How the hell do you do that in an HOUR?! I have astro5/mining5, dcm 2, and ark, bistot, crokite processing at 3 and might make that in 4-6 hours solo mining. Are you including hauling time? How many accounts are you using?

Seen quite a bit of deflation already in faction/officer loot - There are two major factors: Officer loot is MUCH more common than it was before, driving all inferior mods down. The influx of isk into the economy has slowed.
The fact that PvP is a common activity among the Eve upper class means that despite what's been saved, their equipment will eventually become somewhat proportional to their current income.

Even if some of these folk have saved over 900 billion?

Seems to me that the only people who like this "adjustment" are the ones that have taken advantage of the situation for months and now have enough isk to say "screw the rest i have mine". This ensures their "uber" status will not be challenged for a long time and they can sit back and laugh at all the returning and new players that have no chance to earn what these people have already hoarded.

Not that we disagree on the topic at hand, but calling people that choose to not joining a corp a-scocial is stretching it a bit far. I could reverse the argument and say corps are for n00bs, people that cant stand on their own!
Just so you know, not joing a corp is a choice, not a consequnece of being a-social or noobness!

I ahve to admit that ccp have nerfed complexes abit too much. I expected jsut empire ones to be nerfed but the 0.0 ones are nerfed too. I thought CCP wanted more people in 0.0?
