Question. How can you tell if someone placed a bounty on me. I just started playing this game, and someone said there putting a bounty on me. Maybe he was just joking. but how can i tell? Thanks

Dock at the station, open Mission --> Bounty, and search for your name there.

Meet me in .4 space. Its the only place where I can legally do a 'bounty scan' on you. :P

if you bring up your window to train skills..it wont show your own bounty?

Yea I have seen no way to check your own bounty... you either have to do it with an alt or have a friend tell you.

one thing puzzles me, tho....
how can you be a republic and an empire? Are you an empire of republicans? Eesh, that's too scary to comprehend...

Something should be done to make the bounty hunters life a little easier. It's too hard to find some one and it's too easy for that same some one to escape. Pirates usually camp a gate because that's the best way to intercept other players... fair enough. What isn't fair is how easy it is for them to escape the same gate they camp, that's pretty lame.
Imagine spending hours trying to track some one down and have them escape in a few seconds right through the gate they where camping. I'm not a bounty hunter but I can imagine how frustrating their jobs must be. I hear a lot of pirates complaining how hard it is to pirates... now imagine how hard it is for pirate hunters, lol. CCP this needs some balancing but please don't go overboard.
