I'm having a problem with my computer when running EVE. It seems to crash and reboot automatically immidately when rouge drones fire at me. Where I am has nothing to do with with it, either being in a Rouge Drone complex or doing a mission that involves them. I can fly into a complex, fly around and everything with their company, but once they start firing at me my computer immidiately gives a weird sound and reboots automatically. Nothing else in EVE makes my computer crash. Only Rouge Drones.
I almost lost my Raven once due to this... It crashed and when I got back my Raven had 2 % structure left. 
My computer specs:
NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT
Intel_D915GAV motherboard
1024 MB RAM
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20 GHz
Running DirectX 9.0c
Should I install DirectX 9.0b?

I had a similar issue when my own drones fired at something. That mainboard has an "Intel« High Definition Audio subsystem using the Realtek ALC860 audio codec." Update the drivers and see what happens.

Are you running anthing else, for instance in the background, that uses Sound? When I play Eve(even with 2 accounts on the same computer) and want to run another proggie or game, I have to turn the sound off in Eve. If I don't, I get the Windows XP 'Blue Screen Of Death'. The system goes blank, there's a little static or remnants of sounds and the system has to be shut off and restarted. This is obviously a sound issue with Eve.
If I remember to turn off the Eve sound, all is well. I can even run Guild Wars with its sound at the same time on my second monitor with no trouble.

Well. I didn't really think it was something with the audio... Maybe I just have to check it out for myself then. Thanks for the tips, will do...
