With all the complaining going on in the forums, why is there no acknowledgement from the Devs? Are you hoping we will just live with this lag and get used to it? Are you so ashamed you can even own up to how bad you screwed up the game for many users?
FIX THE F*ING LAG!!!

While I sit her and wait for my computer, I thought I would take this opportunity to remind CCP that the lag bug is still BUGGED.

It's not actually a lag bug. It appears to me a memory leak issue that only manifests itself in windows 98/ME. Possibly because 98 and ME had memory leak problems of their own. I am getting a bit tired of everyone running xp saying that there isn't a problem and/or 'it's your IP, hardware, etc'. And it would certainly be nice of CCP to at least acknowledge that they are working on it. The issue was reported to them when Cold War was still running on the test server....but apparently they didn't think it was important enough to deal with before launching the patch...

Well, I guess that is good enough reason as any to upgrade to XP... Friend of mine is on XP and is getting the same screwy lag too though. Anyway, it's still a fun game.

It's a graphics problem not a network problem - memory leak or infinite loop...
And it happens on 2K/XP as well.

Well if it is specifically related to Win98 or Me, then why do I have it on a Win 2000 Pro system? Logging in at arround 2300 EVE time on the 14th seemed to take forever. Ore transfers are spuratic. And I get a message they u have to be within 1500m to access cargo in can when I am actually less than 1400m from the can.... Client and server are not in sync.
