So Ive trained all the new Missle Skills to at least lvl 3 and have 3 of them at lvl 4.. Despite this I have ahard time making money on LVL 3's (Still cant do lvl 4's) because i have to use so much ammo, and with reduced bounties on missions i cant make up losses, not to mention it takes alot longer to do missions...
Explain to me what I am supposed to do now... NO I wont mine.

sell raven and buy apoc, then go to missions forum and look for fittings.
lvl 4's still soloable but not as profitable.

1. Don't use torpedoes against frigs.
2. Use drones.
3. Fit some smaller guns.
4. Solo level 4s just fine.

EvE is 100% team based, and if you run solo and are not a carebear (TM), then you're pretty much hozed without a second account in some corp or alliance to funnel money to you.

Your doing something wrong, i can do level 3s in a raven and a scorp and make reasonable cash for my time, considering i have zero difficultly, they present zero problem to someone who can fit out reasonably.
If your not a troll posting to waste time or some alt to do the same, if you are REALLY having trouble, contact me ingame via mail with your setup and methods and ill try to help you as best i can.

Some people really cant read here.
His major problem is that the mission reward is barely higher or even lower then the cost of missiles.
So whats the point of the missions, if you lose isk on it?
If doesnt matter if he does it in teams, the ammo required vs the rewards will stay the same really. Only 2 people pay for the ammo now, but they would ahve to share the rewards as well?

While EVE isn't 100% teamplay, the high-end content is designed to become easier and more profitable if done in groups to encourage interaction between players, faction building, and conflict management. Whether you like it or not, you will find that working in groups is more effective and new content will primarily be focused on teams and specific tasks as of the Dreadnought patch.
So far the content of EVE has been neutral between solo play and group play, with a slight lean towards solo play.
Also note that the Raven do not have to fit it's category guns to get the beneift of it's ship bonuses, unlike every other ship in game, as it still have the RoF bonus atleast on Assault Missile Launchers (tried and tested for a RoF well below 3 seconds).
I would have also recommended to make use of your drone bay, but since the altered priority for NPCs CCP actually managed to nerf all races NPC-frigate control capacity in what I think is an attempt to remove the nefarious AFK-level3-Dominix' (which incidentally didn't work pre-patch due to faulty/removed automatic drone target acquisition procedures)
